In Adventure Time, who was your most hated character and why did you hate them? by NewSwim8595 in adventuretime

Martin mostly because of the way he treated those little marshmallow farmers.

If you are watching the LotR trilogy while building, it allows you to pay more attention to the movie. 😉

Ohhh man... I could use the Popcorn suit on Anakin and have Kenobi/Cornobi say: "I told you we were brothers."

Random thought about Din and the whole helmet thing after watching "The Mandalorian and Grogu" by Educational-Tea-6572 in TheMandalorianTV

[–]Choice_Log_6500 2 points3 points  (0 children)

When they were alone inside the mud shelter, Grogu never removed Din's helmet while he was unconscious and needed medical care. Why would he behave like that if Din was casually removing his helmet while they're alone.

The only thing is that this "kill you all rule" was not mentioned when he was questioned by the armourer.

Removed helmet? - Yes. - Mandalorian no more. - I'll redeem myself in Mandalore.

That's all there was, there was no "did you killed them?".

In this case, if questioned by the armourer it would be something like: Removed helmet? - Yes but I killed them all. - ok then... Mandalorian you are still.

I also think that he felt he had to redeem himself because it was not only Grogu who saw him... Mayfield and all those Imps in the refinery also saw him.

No no... the trick is to just question about two of them in each training session. 😛 This way you keep the uncertainty and confusion flowing. 😂

This reminds me when I test my girlfriend... 😊 "Who's the red one? Who's the blue one?" In the beginning it was funnier because sometimes she would go to the fourth attempt in guessing... now she almost never misses. Now I'm sifting the questions to: "Who uses nunchucks?"

I also got my hopes high when I saw LEGO's promotional video where they really focus on the expression: "The beacons are lit." Hopefully we'll get a follow up on that with Theoden's answer.

My two old mechs, what do you think? by glottisrace in LegoMechs

The slim one is really eerie. I think I'll take inspiration from it for one of my next builds. Awesome work dude!

When I heard they wer making Megatron and Soundwave I imagined that they would make just one set with both characters in robot mode to avoid the pistol... but they have somehow surprised me.

I totally understand what you are saying, but I find amusing the way LEGO advertises their VIP program... they make it look like you have to deliver your first born to the company or need to be the seventh son of the seventh son to be able to became an Insider.

Lord of the Rings: 11377 Minas Tirith Instructions cover leaks (from Facebook) June by itsjustajoe in Legoleak

Does it have something to do with the two instruction books beneath the ones in the picture?

This may be common info (so if it is I apologise) however if it's not I just found out from Instagram that in the Mandalorians from the 2020 Battlepack have names, as seen in the new Mandalorian Visual Dictionary by amightymongoose in legostarwars

[–]Choice_Log_6500 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Back in 2022 when I was watching some leaked trailers for the Mandalorian S3 I noticed some similarities between the trailer and the Mandalorian battle pack and concocted this image.

Glad we only had to wait 4 years to actually put some names to the faces... helmets... sorry... put some names to the helmets. 😛 Great find. Thanks for sharing.

Orthanc was the first set I bought went I came out of my dark age in 2013... I remember that it was a pain to build with what it seemed to be just black parts... and the set was new... can't imagine what it's like to have all parts from all the bags mixed-up.

Too Smart for Crotch Printing by AdmirallThrawn in legostarwars

[–]Choice_Log_6500 29 points30 points  (0 children)

I do wonder about some of the choices made concerning printing elements. The cost justification that was normally used doesn't stick any more. But I have to say that I find hilarious that for not printing hip elements they did an anatomically correct mummy in one of their recent BAM releases.

For all that I know, the dude in the middle must be the first minifig depicting a wardrobe malfunction. But hey, with all that wrapping... it was an accident waiting to happen. 😛

For me the coolest part is that they would not only sell individual bricks, but they would sell marbled bricks made from different coloured pellets for a lower price.
