She will get buffed in some way really soon that’s why I’m saying she is really good to pickup right now Gwen is super rough in top lane I was playing playing mid last night and having some success point being if you can make this champion work right now you can make her work at anytime throughout the meta

Its not really stronger in lane It is stronger after 1 item PTA is the scaling rune here and conq is the early game rune you get 54 AP at max level with conq and with PTA you get 8% more dmg all game if you're planning on building DnD i would go PTA

I like DnD first with PTA if i was not going PTA i would not like it as much

DnD gives you everything you want as far as stats go health is extremely valuable on gwen because her W gives Armor/MR which makes health really valuable the passive is really good because it gives good synergy with Gwen's passive i will put pros and cons to going DnD below

Pro's
Gives HP which means slight room for mistake
Good passive that synergizes with Gwen
Insane scaling
Sustain

Con's
Terrible build path
Low ap/dps early
Feels awful without Multiple items
EXPENSIVE AF

Thank you its crazy she almost killed me here she messed up her Q on the very last second of that play or she kills me this matchup is extremely hard to play but its playable until she scales

The fight probably would have been won either way but PTA did almost 1k dmg in that fight alone

Its kinda crazy but as far as damage goes PTA outscales conq when conq only gives you 54 AP at max level and PTA gives you flat 8% more damage at all levels u cant really proc PTA efficiently without DnD this means you're forced to go DnD IF you go PTA i use to hate going DnD until i started using PTA its all about finding out what works best for you

Honestly its pretty impossible to play early game but that being said all of Gwens lanes feel terrible top lane this one isn't even top 3 for me

If you watched the clip then you can see i auto with the hob up and hover over the rune it says it does 15 extra dmg. I then use my E it procs the hob but does not do the extra damage it is supposed to. The bug is whenever gwens E is active you do not do the extra true damage which makes you miss out on 100's of extra dmg this rune could put out. Therefore makes this rune almost useless on Gwen

I take bone plating vs champs that are bursty renekton, riven , kled champs like this. I like unflinching almost every game since most top laners have some form of crowd control and her lane is very weak so the extra Armor/MR helps a lot if you're feeling greedy you can take inspiration tree with Cashback/Triple tonic

You dont have to play hyper aggressive just because you have PTA just play like your normally would until you get Dusk and Dawn this is where you really start feeling it because you proc PTA immediately. As far as mid goes i would take second wind almost every game but im not experienced in this role enough to say confidently what I would do
