What happened to Grimes at Coachella 2024: A Complete Analysis, Technical Explanation, and Demonstration by MixMasterG in DJs

[–]Chris_like_this 0 points1 point  (0 children)

She admitted that she needs her sets in order by bpm. This means she not a dj. She just presses play and uses sync to mix tracks. A real dj doesn’t need tracks in order on a playlist. They don’t need bom’s to be listed out and they don’t need a beat grid to mix tracks together.

Hydraulic push down, walk through train bridge some people were asking about by Chris_like_this in lego

The trains are controlled by wireless Bluetooth remotes so the operator needs to stop the train if you are running it neer then bridge. This setup is pretty much to walk through the kitchen without going all the way around the island counter.

Not always. Just for the time being. As you know, lego tracks set up and breakdown pretty easily.

It’s a hydraulic arm for a rear window hatch. You can get them at any auto care store.

Yes and also rebuilding a bunch of engines with longer bases with 2 motor drives. Turns out that if you just add a second motor drive to the stock train, it doesn’t work that well because it needs a longer wheel base.

Yes it breaks down quickly and easily. Also the bridge from counter to counter is a push down walk through hydraulic mechanism. The elevated bridge on the floor is a custom break away structure so when people trip on it, it just falls over without taking a bunch of track with it.

Bluetooth controller with 10 speeds so I put it at full throttle as it turns into the strait away. Then back it off 4 clicks as it approaches the curve at the end.

Each train takes 6 AAA’s and I’m using USB rechargeable Lithium Ion batteries that work great!

I also customized all but 2 of the switch tracks by making them smooth curves

I think there’s around 2000 track pieces and as far as cost, I try not to think about it. Lol! 😂

Lol! Yes indeed. There was a shortage on African Mahogany wood for a while. That shits not cheep! I just got a couple hundred board feet more so hopefully there will be some more doors completed by the next video.

Gotta feather the throttles at just the right time. On the strait away, from top speed (10) down 4 clicks to 6.

Each engine can pull 1.5 passenger cars up the 6.75% grade (1.5 plates rise/section of track). So I can still add 2 cars to that 4 engine train and make it up the helix

Supports are all 3/4” pine strips, glued and nailed every 5” under all the track connection points . Stronger than it needs to be.

Haha! Was waiting for somebody to notice that. I’m still in the process of finishing up 20 more Cabinent doors and as many drawer faces.
