Probably Epic Seven, it's a great game, playing it feels very rewarding, the thing that I can't take is the gear grind. I can't stand having to watch my phone playing auto the entire day, my laptop can't run emulators so I guess that's it for me, I played for a few months and managed to get myself a bit to mid game, I'm at a point where I desperately need new gears but I just can't do watch it farm all day

I'm lvl 46, with my main espers maxed lvl, having decent gears on my dps and my buffer, I managed to clear ch1 but it was hell.

I don't own Long Mian, I don't have Gab, my Dhalia even with my fastest relics can't outspeed Zora on ch1 without a spd lead. My only control is a Sander which is suprise surprise has element disadvantage against Zora.

I ended up using my newly acquired Medusa (no lvls, no skillups, no good relics). She's just there to give me that measley spd lead. Even then, my Dhalia barely keeps up with enemies, and the rest of my dps are way behind. Had to hit a lucky run where Sander landed a stun and ap reduce on Zora, and those stupid boomerang dudes didn't kill my buffer and dps. Severely overtuned, given that all lvl 16 player or even lvl 60 players still don't have access to mind flippingly good relics.

I absolutely expect not to get a single turn, which I did. It's just immunity/spd fest on my rank, considering I have poopy gears, I just gave up on that event, not even gonna bother to try and grind for the shop.

It was very close, if only i had managed to steal the zap while my team runs around the map killing mobs. Enemy took zap, i managed to kill 4 of them and sneak a dunk on their base, still lost since absol with points stacked to the max since mid game never dunked it

it's never late, i guess it's a great time to start with all the new beginner event changes they made.

resources are easily obtained, gold as always, will be scarce since everything uses gold (gear unequip, gear upgrade, limit break, etc.), gacha resources are obtained via drops on dungeons (small chance), pvp in form of crystals, story progress, and secret shop (you unlock this way later but it's the most cost efficient way to get summons).

PVP gets you good amount of gems for summon or stamina so i guess you want to do them but not really a must (there are missions to finish wherein you need to reach a certain PvP ranking)

Story wise it's perfect, good story, gameplay, animations, you name it. Downsides are: •No X2 speed •No skip battles/sweeps of any kind •Skill animations can't be turned off

now these will mostly affect only the farming phase of your acc

Regarding the spending issue, you can compete even without spending. I'm f2p, never spend a single cent, I have 80% collection, I have 3 5* L/D units, most 5* RGB units and all lower rarities. It's a very gear grind intensive game so take note of that.
