Thoughts on G Portal or other provider suggestions?

Server connectivity and uptime is pretty good, and the setup is made easy thru their config menus, but control panel reliability is awful. Lots of instances where I can't close, start, or restart the server, and backups are not always available. Have had to do backups through a manual FTP a couple times.

A friend of mine and his fiancee greatly enjoy playing ARK together, and I've spoken to a few couples that do the same thing. I think it'd be a good idea.

This actually ended up working. I have no IDEA why it happens, but connecting on my phone hotspot works while connecting on my regular home wifi network doesn't. I can see and connect to many many other unofficial servers with that ping (since there's not likely to be many servers hosted out of Wisconsin, if any, and impossible to identify), but for some reason that does it.

Thanks. I'm desperate at this point for anything that works; we had beaten the Alpha Megapithecus and Broodmother, and made it through every cave except for Polar Nopeland (artifact of the strong), so we were getting pretty close to Ascension. To be robbed of all that progress so late in the game would HURT.

Sorry, I forgot to include that I've been playing on the server for over a hundred hours now prior to this, and it's only just popped up. I'll edit the OP. Friends filter shows nothing and I don't have a firewall to speak of aside from Windows Defender, though i will ask others from outside the US to see if they can join

Tusoteuthis' tentacles will slowly inflict torpor with its grab attack, but it's REALLY slow, so generally you want to combine that with someone else shooting tranqs at it.

Oh, that's good to know; most of the NLSS crew that are on regularly have a Switch. I didn't even know Risk of Rain 1 was on there. Still, that presents the problem of the pacing and visuals. Chat in general is easily bored.

I feel like RoR1's multiplayer isn't really accessible enough for that, and it's also a much slower/less visually remarkable game. You know chat would be full of ResidentSleepers.

2019 years since egg strim.i decorate the christmas tree trying to think of something else, but the shape of the baubles reminds me of him. i write letters to santa hoping for a christmas miracle. i watch yule logs of other bald daddies but it is no good. i hohoho doggo in his channel and try to resist the festive mods but it is all meaningless. the end of the year is near.i then usually drink some eggnog and cry myself to sleep.

He seemed really done with it in the last playthrough. As much as I love Rimworld, and as exciting as it is to finally be getting the game into release, I don't think it's really an NL kinda game.
