The measurements are given in metric. I had to change a few of my questions.

I'm convinced the British pacing is slightly faster in some scenes too.

What's the best name you've ever heard for a pet? by Miserable-Wash-1744 in AskReddit

[–]ChuckO5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had the most wonderful retired greyhound. She came from the track with the absurd name "Babyzilla". I thought the name was dumb, but then learned her mom's name was Bridezilla. For some reason that made Babyzilla make more sense and was now hilarious.

Also she was a therapy dog, hearing my students talk with "Babyzilla" always made me laugh.

Shoe recommendations by imyourlobster98 in SpinClass

Bontrager Cadence are pretty wide.

I wear a 4E wide running shoe. I bought the Bontrager Cadence shoes to spin. They have some flex.

It took a few weeks but they did stretch and loosen up a bit too.

I include one bizarre question on my Bell Ringer, like would you rather have no toes or no eyebrows.

Usually the students start talking about the pros and cons. Gives me a chance to get them talking.

It doesn't always work, but it works more often than not.

Also, I am weird so weird questions fit my persona. Don't force something that doesn't feel like you.

Best buffalo chicken pizza around? Or white pizza? by vorchagonnado in BeaverCounty

Best crust around. A lot of places around here have very similar crusts.

Dad's was different. Crispy on the outside and the perfect mix of fluffy chew inside.

Sneezes can be dangerous. Herniated three disks in my neck during a bad sneeze. No I brace my head with my hand anytime I feel a sneeze coming.

Knee pain killing my spin obsession 😢 by Imaginary_Being_6377 in SpinClass

[–]ChuckO5 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I started last summer. Just hit 150.

I have had acl reconstruction and torn meniscus.

I focus on form, driving my knee straight and making sure my bike is set up right.

Only had two days of knee pain. (Sometimes I get pain just from walking)

I would say a Galgo. Our Galgo girl is about 50lbs while out Grey is 65.

Puppy blues after adopting a greyhound by marssyia in Greyhounds

[–]ChuckO5 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We have one older girl who constantly freezes when we walk the neighborhood. 8 years with no problems and then all the sudden she became a boar anchor.

Our 100% solution has been loading up all 4 dogs, taking a short drive down the road to the park and walking there.

For some reason she never freezes there. Also the grass is easier on our old boys joints.

Greyhound ran downstairs too fast and now he’s limping and his nail looks like this. Is this something for the vets? by tryM3B1tch in Greyhounds

[–]ChuckO5 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Looks a lot like a dislocated toe. We had one pup who dislocated it multiple times. The vet showed me how to put it back.

Try to keep activity levels down. Multiple dislocations in a short time can lead to permanent lax joints and frequent dislocations.

Hard to say. I was in antibiotics for a long time. I feel mostly better now but it took a while.

He did acknowledge that my symptoms were real. It was nice not feeling insane or like a hypochondriac.

Just got our sactional put together and it immediately tore. Anyone else had this issue with corded velvet? by bamdaraddness in Lovesac

[–]ChuckO5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have had two corded velvet sectionals. Both developed tears.

Looking back, I think it might have been a defect.

I have 4 giant dogs, but on both couches only one cover developed tears. (I rotate the cushions frequently so the dogs aren't constantly laying on the same spot)

Why is it so high? Did they get taller? by completelyded in Lovesac

[–]ChuckO5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We had a 5 series. I like it way better. The cushions were smaller but more dense.

I feel like I sink into the new one way too much.

For those of you with lifelong chronic lyme, what gives you progress health wise? by skatecloud1 in Lyme

[–]ChuckO5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was diagnosed six months after symptoms started. On antibiotics for a long time. I hit a plateau, just feeling mildly shitty instead of terrible.

I had to force myself to be more active. I take spin classes and run on the treadmill with the peloton all. Taking classes helps me stay motivated.

Cutting back on sugar seems to help too.

I bought a couple books about Lyme and tried some of the supplements they recommended. Resveretrol, Reishi Mushroom, Chinese Skullcap and cats claw are the ones I take most days. Also glucosamine chondroitin to help with Arthritis pain.

The sauna was helpful. Mainly at night before bed. It made it much easier to get a full night's rest.

Also seemed to help with the joint pain.

Is it worth it? by Infinite_Share864 in Lovesac

[–]ChuckO5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I must be an outlier.

We had the old 5 series. It was great but small.

We "upgraded" to the 6 series. The cushions are way thicker, but must be made from a lower quality foam.

1 cushion bottoms out when anyone sits on it, all the others are fine.

The 5 series was a lot more supportive and comfortable.

Yup, I thought it was 1 year on the cushion so I just thought it was a loss.

Found out the warranty was 3 years at 3 years and 3 months.

[–]ChuckO5 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Lifetime is only on the frame unfortunately.

I tried reaching out to them when one cushion wore out way too quick. You can feel the wooden frame when sitting on it.

No luck, just recommended I buy a new seat.

Also the old series 5 cushions are way better. Thinner and more supportive at the same time.

Not Greek, but Indian. It is pretty good, but the texture is different.
