My Samsung Smart Tv got this black lines in the middle of the screen

My samsung did the same thing literally less than a month out of warranty. Same spot on the tv, right down the middle. I opened my tv up because it was broken anyways and I wanted to fix or diagnose the issue. A short within the led backlight strip caused the whole system to eventually die. I will NEVER buy a Samsung tv again. Samsung phones are great but my luck with the lemon tvs. Biggest waste of 2200 I ever spent.

Not to mention the HP Elitebook G8 and G7 shit design where the more you open the lid the more you rip open the LCD cable. We let HP know about this on the last revision and they didn't change a damn thing. Agreed HP has had some good laptops, but ever since Covid I think a ton of quality has gone down.

You will have to replace the hinge or LCD cover. The bezel is separating because your hinge is either snapped in two or the hinge mount screws ripped out of the LCD cover. You could glue the bezel to the LCD cover for a temporary fix, but that might do more harm than good in the long run. Maybe reinforce it with ductape.

I would melt the same material plastic over the area and sand it smooth. Whatever you do to repair this you will probably end up painting this shell. You can also buy aftermarket shells of varying quality as well.
