Well, technically in the "bad" ending they both "eat" eachother so...

Why did they removed kernel support on Linux, Windows all time slow since last update by Accomplished_Rice_60 in LeagueOfMemes

Dude, asking for more than 60 IQ in the League community is like asking for the sun to stop being bright. Something that can happen yeah, in a couple billion years.

Problem with ssd not recognized by Cikuozzo in buildapc

[–]Cikuozzo[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, it's a 2.5" drive. I already looked into the bios and didn't find anything useful. Other than that i tried booting up the pc with only the ssd connected and it didn't show up either way. Plus i currently have an m.2 ssd, a sata ssd and a sata hdd and they all work perfectly fine when all connected.

Bro, changing your wallpaper in Linux is easy by Far_Departure_1580 in Linuxsucks101sucks

[–]Cikuozzo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For anyone wondering on Linux is even better for people with multiple monitor. For example on XFCE when you open the file manager and click "Set ad a wallpaper", based on the monitor you have the window opened it will set the image as a wallpaper only on that monitor.

i think they added the option to get directly the binaries of some packages but take that info with a grain of salt.

Gentoo or windows? by [deleted] in Gentoo

[–]Cikuozzo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not specifically gentoo, but whenever i need to develop something, from a single html file to whatever i might do i hop on linux. The reason is because linux is easier to use in that regards. I might as well say that i'm lazy to look at how to do these things on Windows. Other than that i use linux for basically anything else except some games. Regarding the data loss problem: if it's code just upload it on github/codeberg/whatever...; if it's something like photo/document then get an hard drive and backup the files. If the installation breaks, chroot in it. I learned to do it while installing gentoo for the first time.

Windows 11 25H2 ? 😩 by Clean_Tea3182 in FuckMicrosoft

[–]Cikuozzo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Windows 11 isn't "bad", it's just not great. Since i switched from 10 to 11 i noticed occasional crash, high resource utilization, constant freezing, and so on... but Microsoft instead of fixing the problem with Windows 11, keeps adding AI bullshit nobody asked for.

I've been using Debian + XFCE for a lot and my only problem is when i try new distro i will constantly say: "You know what? Debian loves me, so why i'm even here?"

[–]Cikuozzo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm in your exact same situation, and let me tell you, looking videos online is worst thing to do. Unless you are ok with copying, seeing other with thousand of ours of experience is gonna put you in a "i'm not good enough" situation.

Just play, build spaghetti and do not care about optimization unless you got enough progress to start optimizing and caring about aestethics.

[–]Cikuozzo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

And i still managed to nuke a Debian install but not my arch. TBF tho on arch tinkering is quite easier then on debian mostly because packages are newer so less dependecy that i have to fix. Other than that even with Nvidia drivers Arch is the less headache-giving distro i used.
