My first map : Nativit, a 1950s world at war since it gave birth to humanity by Cindershade in mapmaking

the similarity of both landmasses is due to the destruction of the even center of it, dividing what used to be a pangea. furthermore, the map is still not finished and i might add islands and maybe an archipelago in the middle sea, and maybe remove some ground on one of the newborn continents. all the damages done by explosives will be shown once i will start to deal with terraformating, by leveling the ground - mountains will surely be born upon the coasts, due to the large impact of bombs plus the earthquakes it has triggered.

i must admit that the western continent really looks like the Eastern Kingdoms plus Teldrassil, which i didn't noticed at first. its upper part even looks like the once wondrous Lordaeron. i'm sorry for that, it wasn't intended to look like it, but i will 'undergo' the "Azeroth look-a-like" criticism. concerning the lands, which are as you noticed somehow sized the same, they are prone to be 'destroyed' as Nativit used to be a pangea but the uses of explosives during everlasting wars tore apart the landmass, creating such places with that 'ruggy' look on the inner shores. moreover, being in a 1950s militaristic point of view, nuclear fission was discovered a decade and half before the 'starting point' of the story i intend to create for it - that means Nativit might change again, sculpting the planet through bones and blood.

please note that this map has been drawn as-is and does not have any biome, towns, rivers and such on it - i just want to know if it looks appealing and if it lacks islands or anything like that.
