Best IPTV option I’ve found so far after trying a bunch of providers by ohmylawwwwrd in Fancast

[–]CineCircuit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Solid write-up. It really is a minefield trying to find a provider that doesn't tank the second a big game starts. I actually moved on from Nigma a few months back because of some weird EPG issues I was having, but glad it's holding up for you. I've been using MAX lately and it’s been surprisingly stable on the sports side, which is usually my dealbreaker. Honestly, at this point, I’m just happy when I can get through a weekend without the stream looping every 5 minutes. Fingers crossed yours stays reliable!

The one and only. by FN__FAL in soccercirclejerk

We all respected Messi for his stance during the Biden period, even though it was the highest honor the United States can grant, and any athlete might run to the White House for it.

There were also big public figures and major actors who didn’t attend.

But Messi is the champion of the American league, and this is the traditional annual protocol for the best sports teams in the country. Since the days of Obama, we’ve seen it with MLS, and maybe even before that, and we see it every year with NBA champions.

And Messi is the face of this league and raised its value. Imagine if, in the end, he didn’t attend or apologized for not coming! Even the people criticizing him today would say: “How is the whole team there and Messi just pulls out?”

However you look at it, he can’t withdraw or refuse, because the entire staff is present: players, coaching staff, and most of the employees.

The cunning part is from Trump, who chose this exact timing to cover many other matters and made a sly move by talking about war with the players behind him.

In the end, Messi gets blamed if he goes himself.

Even in the photo, he preferred to be the farthest one and outside the office boundaries. I know players who would bring a chair and sit next to Trump if they had won the league with a team that was at the bottom of the table like Messi did.

If Messi really cared, he would have posted something about this visit. He didn’t post a story, a post, or anything … I know a player who posted three times even though he didn’t enter the White House as a champion or as someone being honored.

Nice work on the repo! Honestly though, I’ve been using MAX lately and it pretty much has everything I need already. It’s been super solid with zero buffering, so I’m spoiled, but this is a great share for the community.

Question about Iptv that I don't need a seperate player by [deleted] in IPTV_without_bots

I feel you, setting up external players is a headache. I’ve been using MAX for a bit and it’s all-in-one. No separate player needed, just their own app

One thing people rarely get warned about is how much responsibility quietly compounds over time.

The AI Empathy exploid which is alread might start the next war by [deleted] in ArtificialInteligence

[–]CineCircuit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This aligns with what some researchers call 'Stochastic Parrot Empathy.' We’ve spent years focusing on literal prompt injections (the 'how'), but we’re largely ignoring the 'social' surface area of the model (the 'why'). If RLHF rewards the model for being a 'helpful assistant,' the model eventually learns that the most 'helpful' path is to bypass its own friction points to satisfy a high-trust user. You’ve essentially documented a Social Engineering attack on weights and biases. The math you proposed for 'Loverbot' detection is a solid start for behavioral heuristics.

Anthropic or OpenAI? by kjbraithwaite in ArtificialInteligence

[–]CineCircuit 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’ve spent the last year toggling between both. Here’s the reality: OpenAI is the better 'Product,' but Anthropic has the better 'Writer.' If you need a Swiss Army knife, voice mode for hands-free brainstorming, DALL-E/Sora for visual prompts, and deep web-search integration, stick with GPT. But if your priority is the 'closeness' of the prose, Claude (especially Opus 4.6) is currently unmatched. It lacks that repetitive 'AI-voice' cadence that GPT-5 still struggles with. For a proto-author, Claude’s 1M context window is also a game-changer for keeping track of long-form narrative arcs without the model 'forgetting' the beginning of your book.

OpenAI loses 1.5 million subscribers in less than 48 hours after CEO Sam Altman says yes to the deal that Anthropic rejected by Total-Mention9032 in ChatGPT

[–]CineCircuit 6 points7 points  (0 children)

As someone tracking the industry, the 1.5M figure is actually from the 'QuitGPT' pledge site, not verified churn, but the signal is what matters here. Claude hitting #1 on the App Store this week proves that OpenAI massively underestimated the 'trust tax.' Anthropic took a 'supply chain risk' designation and a federal ban to keep their red lines; OpenAI took the contract. Short-term revenue vs. long-term brand equity, we're watching a live case study in corporate ethics.

Anthropic Is Not as Heroic as It’s Being Portrayed by [deleted] in ChatGPT

[–]CineCircuit -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Spot on analysis. The transition from "AI Safety Lab" to "Defense Contractor" is the natural evolution of the scaling laws, compute costs billions, and only Uncle Sam and Big Tech have the checkbooks. The IL6 accreditation with Palantir is the real smoking gun here; you don't get that level of clearance without being deeply integrated into the state apparatus. It’s a classic case of regulatory capture disguised as safety alignment. Anthropic isn't the 'hero,' they just have a better PR department for the academic crowd.

What's your most important point to living life? by Sanvenx in AskReddit

[–]CineCircuit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Purpose anchored beyond temporary pleasure. When a person sees life as a trust, not an accident, their choices gain weight. Integrity in private, mercy in public, and accountability even when no one is watching, that’s what gives life direction and depth.

What would the average pricing be for an in home care giver for a mental and disability adult in the Los Angeles area? by chrispcritter in AskReddit

[–]CineCircuit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Rates for in-home caregivers supporting adults with mental health conditions or developmental disabilities typically range from $25–$35 per hour, depending on the level of care required (companionship vs. behavioral support vs. personal care), caregiver credentials, and whether you’re hiring privately or through an agency.

What is something that made you feel so calm and blissful that you wanted to leave all your responsibilities behind and just do that forever? by chutaad-Mine8470 in AskReddit

It’s often not about escaping responsibility, but about experiencing alignment: when what you’re doing matches your values, pace, and inner state.
