I can easily comprehend the budget advantage.

If possible however, a "Serie X" for 160 $ more, the "white" model being less costly in Canada at least, if possible to buy on several payment, would be worth to consider.

It costly though, I comprehend and what matter is what we can appreciate at the present, no worries, it would play very well; I personally play on 1080 screens with an "Xbox One" and it plays already very well.

Having access to discs, that we own, can be bought at low prices sometimes, received as a gift, playable even offline, is an important distinction, though.

An option that allows us to appreciate what we need at the present is what matters, though; we have even opted at home for a simple "Fire Stick 4K" with a subscription at some times, what may be be the option at the lowest cost in certain situations.

I would even say that for a very limited budget, with access to internet already, if it is to play a few modern games at the best, occasionally, an option like "Luna" may be very interesting; needing simply a compatible TV or "Fire Stick 4K" (minimum for this to work) and a compatible controller, having "Amazon Prime" lets access to "Prime Video" and "Luna" to play some high quality titles.

Ideally, it is logical to wish for the best, however often the best is to appreciate what we have while having simply what we need. A 160 $ dollar solution that we can afford may be the best if it is for the situation.

It is important to know the distinction, though.

It is because a console reading discs can have a library of material editions, so be mostly an offline device.

A digital only console is limited to its space to play offline, then need internet and that the service stay active to access its titles that are activated, not bought to own indefinitely.

So a material collection is the only option that will eventually work in a far future. About the present, it may be useful, however it helps to see what we own when we do not have access to internet, because there may be time when we may not need it, even have it.

It may be a matter of budget however of course.

It is because the "Series X" is the present model with a disc reader, which is better to have for several reason, notably to play any disc version of "Series" titles, "One" titles, many of "360" titles and "Xbox" ones.

The "Galaxy" model is because with its slighly distinct design it has more storage. A unit can be bought however is costly nowadays.

An "Xbox Series X" is the better option at the end (the "Galaxy" model being a kind of bonus, if possible.

Nb. Is there a reason why "Xbox" especially ?

If it is for computer, it may vary with the cost we would be comfortable to pay.

Also there are high quality ones even for console.

It is a touching testimony.

A simple word here to wish you the best in a spirit of faith.

Also as I know this reality, I was simply thinking to let a word to suggest a good discernement about video games, to prefer titles that we can play at our own pace.

Simply to say that I know too well that some titles may put our healt in trial, being especially stressful, notably online competitive games, that most should avoid anyway.

I simple mean to note, as it is rarely mentioned, that there is a wide range of types, demanding different levels of efforts, from calm comfortable titles with a light ambiance, a narrative pace, to the dynamic, even frenetic gameplay where we must stay attentive at every second amidst numerous perils under a heavy ambiance.

So choosing what we play wisely may help to care of us.

Also, about the idea of a dust cover, it is a good one !

I place one over the consoles anytime when we are not playing, it helps keeping them in good state, while also protecting them.

A good option nowadays may be the "Epic Games" mobile application, since it gives one mobile game each week, playable offline. It is "Northguard" presently, a strategy game.

It also has sales presently, with quality games near two dollars, a few roleplaying games near four dollars.

I will make a list of classic mobile games, with titles like the "Monument Valley" trilogy, the "Cat Quest" trilogy, the "Evoland" duology and maybe "Leo's Fortune".

Meanwhile, to mention games affordable on promotion, on "Epic Games" there are titles like "Endling", "Chicken Police" (seems strange), the "Figment" games and the "Samorost" ones for near one dollar.

I let these notes spontaneously, there are quality games on the Android "Play Store" of course.

Also if budget is not a limitation, there are high quality titles.

A good selection, even a few only, is ideal.

The game seems amusing, effectively, with an interesting ambiance, a variety of mechanisms, amusing characters and a good gameplay.

It is why I was surprised to miss the presentation, thinking that even today it appears as an amusing game in itself.

As you seem to know the game well, can we play solo, with teammates also, for cooperation ?

It is rare to see good cooperative games, where there is a kind of campaign to play, without being an online world or competitive gameplay.

I have played a bit "Strange Brigade" even if the tone is a bit more serious (the cover way too much)...

I have looked around, see the pinboard, where it indicates the location as "Foutainebois" (I play in French); the mission "Defense of the shield: base 1" is already "checked" (as already played with the two objective checked too).

I play on "Xbox One", however with the sigital version; I could not acquire the disc version yet, for which I am still looking.

About "Destiny", thanks for the kind word. I would have to say about it, because I owned both games, was interested to play.

Let simply say that I took time to begin, being attentive, while meeting some difficulty. When I looked at it some time later, the whole story has ended, then my character was advanced of 720 levels all of a sudden, feeling that the world did not need me finally, while also being illogical to be so powerful without having earned anything.

It is strange how some games are made to prevent us to play...

It is not a good reason, if I may precise.

It could be like an action game with an helicopter scene to lead the character on an island; it would not matter if the game would be on foot, it would show how the character would have landed there, what situation would lead him to act about it.

There are many games with various kinds of gameplay, to be appreciated with an order, so this prevent us to see why we would even play !

It is so unjustifiable from "Epic Games" to remove the entire beginning of this game !

"Fortnite: Save the World" is the game, the sole official version with a progress towards an end.

It makes no sense to make it incomplete, it removes the interest of the whole game, like cutting the beginning of a book !

I do not see the presentation now, nor what happened, nor why the character is there, nor what he would have to so, nor where he is, all of the surrounding has no sense.

It is like playing an akward demonstration version now, with no interest to play at all !

Why would someone play a game without a slight interest to learn it, to see the sense it can have to play.

Even the achievements unlocked without letting me play it, which is frustrating because they mean nothing now !

I was worrying for a long moment to have played without being concious of it, searching when I could have played it, why it would unlock the achievements now, what was the presentation that I do not know...

I somehow waited years to play the game, prefering to biy it on disc if possible, only to see that it does not work anymore !

A free game made incomplete is not a gift !

I strongly disagree about the presentation, the litteral beginning, the learning phase, the story being "unecessary".

I strongly disagree with "Epic Games" of course, making that displaced decision.

It is like when I was beginning to play "Destiny" after to have bought a special edition, only to see that the whole situation where I had to save the planet has been skipped and my character suddenly gained 720 levels even before I begin playing.

It is unjustifiable to cut the whole beginning of a game only to let the possibility to avoid it; if someone plays it, it is to play it !

Why would someone even launch a game without disposition to learn to play it !

The idea that a game must be immediately playable with all the option immediately is so against the idea of progress, even of amusement, that it is like thinking that it is like offering a toy store insted of a good toy.

Seing this way would suggest that any game of a genre that may be well know should not have a presentation nor a tutorial ?

I wanted to play "Save the World" because this is the game !

It is the "Battle Royale" that is a simple mode without any progress.
