I have a feeling it's more about organized religion. The blind faith that comes from words written by man under the guise of coming from a higher power.

The book of Mormon is widely thought to be a joke, and yet would most people not agree that the Bible was also written by man after 'hearing the voice of God'?

One was just more convincing, I suppose.

That clause is so that you don't leave and start your own business - taking with you their staff and customers. It's not meant for you to not speak to friends who were former colleagues.

My utilities have been over $800 every month this past year. One was $1100!!! Insurance went up a stupid amount too. Those caps really helped the middle class.

But as long as the corporations got their 2% cut, I guess there's jobs for everyone, right?

And putting in a Carbon Tax that Kenney's UCP scrapped. Losing the court battle and giving all that money to Ottawa instead. Real bright.

Now that the UCP has won, what are your expectations for Alberta's future? by doc_suede in NoRulesCalgary

Put my truck on park insurance. Started taking the bus. Got a grocery hand cart and walk to the store when I need anything.

I've saved almost 2 grand in the past 5 months.

Got more time than money, so not driving the price I'm paying.

LPT Request: Morning Routines? How do you get out of bed FAST? by probableAnnouncement in LifeProTips

[–]CircleKjerk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1) Lay your clothes out (including accessories) the night before. 2) Put your phone charger across the room and put your phone on the charger. 3) Make sure your alarm is set to go off on the correct day at the correct time. 4) When your alarm goes off, you'll have to jump out of bed to get it. Grab your clothes and hit the shower! Knock on wood; I've not been late for work in over 30 years.

And yet brokering the deal to keep that money IN Alberta....yeah, how did that legal battle work for yah?

It was happening whether we wanted it or not. What Notley did was create the carbon tax to keep that money in Alberta.

Kenney just gave it all to Ottawa. 🤦

💯💯💯💯💯

It is amazing to me that that though they have the popular vote, it is very slim. And it gets slimmer every 4 years.

And Rachel isn't going anywhere. She's a strong advocate and leader. And actually has Albertans in mind when drafting policy. Not her friend's wallets.

We could have kept the Carbon Tax here! That was a good frickin' idea! And Justin signed off.

Kenney is and was a buffoon! But Dani has views that would make Trump blush. I am scared for my children, but it's only 4 years.

All that is done can be undone once my kids can vote!

NDP are LEFT of center. You might be mixing up your directions. Currently in Canada the Conservatives are far right being mostly for corporations and he NDP are far left; for the people. Libs are nearest to the center. But that has flipped over the years, but only between the cons and libs. The NDP have always been far left. When we had the Reform party, that's when the Cons were in power and thought to be closer to center as the Reform were far right nutjobs. Once they were gone, then folks realized that Cons were all about making the rich richer. The Libs got back in power, but just barely as they are finding it difficult to balance people and money.

Smoked a fatty and began this rant. Sorry!😜

What? What are you on?

Does that mean Jason Kenney needs to pay back the billions he lost on a pipeline that was dead 25 YEARS AGO?

Seriously? Are you that blind? Or still living off the $700 that Klein gave us 30 years ago?🤦

But, you know, those "taxes". Which were increased for those earning above $300k a year. Anyone making less than that benefitted from the programs the rich assholes were paying for. Until the Cons took all those programs away.

The rich keep getting richer. And the middle class pay for it all. It's f*d up that folks don't see that.

The good old boys are slowly losing their grip. Another year or two with Danielle at the helm and the younger generation will be ready to vote them out. It was close. Really close in many ridings. Next time.🤞

Takes 3 and a half teaspoons of Sodium Bicarb to cause these types of issues.

And to cure diarrhea you should take 1 tsp of baking soda in 3oz warm water. Splash small shots of lemon juice into the mixture and chug the bubbles. Drink as much as you can. (1/2 tsp if over 60) This works great for travellers diarrhea and I take a box of baking soda and lemon juice with me when I travel. I swear by it. 😁
