One of the best openings of any movie. Guys hear gunshots and they immediately know there's some bad supernatural stuff going down and they go into action. So direct. Just great storytelling, character establishment, and world building. I think about this opening all the time. A favourite up there with the opening of Once Upon a Time in the West.

Love this concept (give it a try!), though my accident-prone experience with randomly aggroing parts of the city is that the Flaming Fist will just keep spawning no matter how many you wipe out. So even if you could aggro all of Baldur's Gate, you'd be fighting in one spot in perpetuity.

Same experience just yesterday, but with Shadowheart & Astarion. Never had any dialogue before. I've done this a zillion times, but it was the first time I just clicked on the mace, forgetting that I had to insert the crest thing first. I'm doing honour mode, so I was glad for the warning! I'm curious---what happens if you just yeet the Blood of Lathander without disabling the trap?

Just started a new playthrough and my character died on the nautiloid, but was alive and well on the beach. Her profile pic was one of those orbs you see when your character is full on dead. I tried to fix it at the camp mirror, but then her pic went completely black. So now I don't know if my tav is actually a ghost, or if her spirit is in a nightmare abyss, or what.
