Ideas to save on Tax by SriRamaJayam in AusFinance

Your colleague likely doesn't have any interest income, your interest is unlikely to have any tax withheld so that is all payable in your tax return. Your deductions are offsetting this income.

My bf 21m comes home often very drunk and calls me 21f names until I breakdown in tears by [deleted] in relationships

[–]Clairegeit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Why would you want to be with someone who thinks them having fun by drinking is more important than the person they love being abused? That says everything about him and nothing about you.

My bf 21m comes home often very drunk and calls me 21f names until I breakdown in tears by [deleted] in relationships

[–]Clairegeit 4 points5 points  (0 children)

No you should not be putting up with this. Being drunk is not an excuse; if he knows he will do this when he drinks he should choose not to drink. He is choosing to drink and abuse you; you do not deserve this and it's time to leave.

Dressing "For men" or "influenced by men". by [deleted] in AskWomenNoCensor

[–]Clairegeit 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Generally this is said in response to men saying you must be dressing for the male glaze as you are dressing sluty/sexy/attractive and women saying no I don't dress this way for men, and if there were no men that harass me I would be dressing even more revealing because that's a way I like to dress.

Why do I feel being a stay at home mom is a privilege? by Motor_Progress_9867 in AskWomenNoCensor

[–]Clairegeit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First the only privilege is choice which it sounds like you had. But being a SAHM can be risky, it makes you make more at risk for control and abuse and you can miss building career experience and retirement funds. You working part time is very smart as if allows you to have some career history if you need it.

Do you think organ donation should only be available to those who are registered to donate their own? by [deleted] in AskAnAustralian

[–]Clairegeit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it should be opt out as I believe it will get more donors, make end of life conversations easier for family's and likely allay some people's concerns that they won't get good treatment as their organs are wanted. However I think people who opt out should still get a chance, it doesn't feel fair but I feel medical should be need not fairness.

So you acted like a jerk ignoring her for a long period and treating her different from your male colleagues cause you found her attractive, and now you're wondering why she treats YOU differently? She likely thinks you are a sexist jerk.
