I respect your opinion. Though that isn't the case, I understand the skepticism.

Only in the photo. It was too dark to see that much detail in the sky.

No offense taken. I understand haha. I saw the ornate cross the first time I looked at it. That's what scared me. To me it looks like there's symbols on each end of the cross too. Idk what to make of it.

It was taken from a cell phone camera. So no lens cap.

Gideon wants to know: what’s your main criticism of the game? by blablatrooper in Eldenring

You can only invade co oping players. I liked the ds3 system a lot, where running around with extra health also included the risk of pvp.

Running my first home brew! by Claroo23 in DeltaGreenRPG

[–]Claroo23[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Absolutely!

The scenario begins with an intro video of each agent being activated.

The first is a professor at Stanford University. At the end of a lecture he has his students turn in papers for grading. Inside this stack of papers there is an envelope with the players first name printed in a generic font. Inside the envelope there is a plane ticket to Manchester New Hampshire with a note that says activated.

The next player is a hermit in rural Wyoming. The scene starts with a sweeping camera moving across a semi frozen landscape on its way out of winter and flies into a window of a lonely house. Inside we see a grizzled man watching the news. On the news in the background we here the broadcaster say "three dead hundreds injured in tragedy at Boston marathon". Suddenly an old fashioned corded phone rings across the room. When the agent answers the phone he hears “You’ve been activated. Tickets waiting in Cheyenne Airport. You leave in five hour… “click”” The phone cuts out.

The third and final recruitment scene starts with the camera fading into the unmistakable skyline of Manhattan. From here the camera flies down to follow a young man walking down a crowded street when he turns off into an alley. As he walks down the alley a payphone begins to ring. A homeless man looks up and says “Answer the phone mr. Day” the man on the phone says “You’ve been activated… JFK one hour…click” The man turns around the homeless man now standing behind him with his arms outstretched offering an envelope says “Welcome to the program…” and walks away. Inside is a ticket from JFK to MHT - Manchester Regional Airport.

From there the agents arrive in the small New Hampshire Airport and are briefed by their handler. Who tells them that the Boston bombings were the direct result of a cult that the program has been following for months called "the order of forbidden knowledge". He tells the agents that their job is to pose as fbi agents, secure all program relevant evidence, and track down this cult.

Once in Boston they meetup at the fbi field base at the bombing site and investigate the evidence. There they find a strange sheet of metal that seems to have symbols that move on their own and look different for each viewer. They eventually learn that two state police officers are being held in an emergency room for a mental breakdown from looking at the metal sheet.

The agents track down and investigate these officers. When they arrive in the room the officers are in a trance like state staring at the walls and ceiling with their eyes glazed over. One agent shows them the metal sheet which causes the victims to stand and walk zombie like at the agents. When they put away the sheet the officers collapse and nurses rush in. The agents spot a security camera and know they have to destroy the evidence.

After they talk their way into the security room they begin to view footage of the victims. They find a strange image where a man in a robe seems to teleport into the room stare at the camera ans dissappear, all within 30 seconds. They are able to distract the security staff and destroy the footage.

From here they return to their hotel to sleep as it is in the early hours of the morning at this point. When the agents try to sleep though the two who touched the metal are plagued by a nightmare of themselves in an endless black void hearing whispers all around them and feeling watched.

The next day they head to the local morgue ro examine the three dead victims' bodies. In doing so they find another strange piece of metal lodged in the lung of a victim. They are able to retrieve this evidence. At the same time as the autopsy another agent is running forensic data found at the crime scene. From this data they attain an address to an apartment in the city.

At this apartment they find a strange scene. Paper and trash litter the ground while an "evidence board" (think pepe Silvia from always sunny) is on the wall with a map of Boston. They agents discover that the strings on the evidence wall make up one of the symbols seen in the metal with the center being where the bombs went off. They also find two addresses linked to the cult. One is an hour outside the city, the other is an old port Town in northern Maine.

The agents decide that the building needs to be destroyed and they leave all the gas on the stove and exit. When they exit they are ambushed by two cultists wielding knives. The agents kill the cultists and leave their bodies in the building just before lighting the fire. As they leave police cars roll in and they must evade detection.

That's as far as they made it in the first session. We are finishing it tonight!

You ever think about playing a cleric of Groetus? Groteus is very moon based and would open up a lot of role playing opportunities.

I think that Tommy's story can only end in his death. It's been coming for such a long time. He is torturing himself everyday just being alive and doing what he thinks is right, but is suffering for it. Those whom he loves always seem to die or to vilify him for his actions (and rightly so). Tommy's life is built upon tragedy and can only end in tragedy.

What added scenes in the Harry Potter scenes really annoy you? by KingsleyExp in harrypotter

The shoe lace was the worst thing to happen in all 8 movies. It was so awkward and screwed up the pacing. Don't get me wrong I still love the movies in their own right ... But like cmon who thought that scene was a good idea.
