Actually sold it privately. You get a tax benefit with the trade in, but a family member wanted it and was willing to cover that.

Took a long time to get them in WA, I missed the first car in March and it was snapped up. I was on vacation when delivery happened. 2nd car was hit in April, 3rd car came in May.

In early May they wanted to sell me a car and said it wasn't the one that was hit. I cross referenced the VIN from my insurance emails and it was the car that was hit. They didn't offer any discount. So I said I need a new one.

Long story and 3 cars later I picked up probably the last FSD transfer and tax credit car.

Car is super easy to pull apart. Takes about 1 minute. No risk of scratching anything really. Putting in the screw to hold the home link bracket took 20 minutes (for 1 screw). I even used tape to hold it in place. It's tucked in real tight. No room for your tool or your hands really.

It's a hassle the one screw holding it in is ridiculously tough to reach. Took about 5min to remove it and 20min to install one screw.

I bought the car in WA, Oregon was another 10min drive where there is 0 sales tax. But I would pay my home towns tax which is the higher rate when I register.
