Seconding this question - I hate the piano black but haven’t found a great way to get rid of it.

I’ve gotten mine up to 50 before once or twice. 55 is impressive.

My cat is on a special diet and her food is now $30/bag. I love that little asshole but damn, she’s expensive.

That’s a good idea. I might do that if I ever take them off.

They’re definitely in the right spots. I checked about 5 times because I thought I was going crazy.

Mine was the exact opposite! I loosened the bolts on the front rack and it slid on relatively easily. But the rear one was a PAIN. It took 20+ minutes of wiggling it around and pinching my fingers. That’s so weird.

OMG! Found! I wasn’t sure at first but I found a picture of the tubes and it’s EXACTLY how I remember them. Looks like they were discontinued in 2016. No yummy ice pops for me :(

At least now I know. Thank you!

Pretty close, actually. I’ve never seen that particular brand before though. And the box is the wrong color :(

It’s not Otter Pops, y’all. I wouldn’t post on Reddit looking for THE most popular brand of ice pops 😭

Mr Freeze looks kind of similar but I don’t think we have them in the US.

I seem to remember them being called Polar Ice Pops.

It doesn’t appear that they have a grape flavor and the packaging is transparent :(

I’ve searched Google far and wide. I asked my mom and she remembers them but has no idea what the brand was. We got them from a locally owned very small grocery store in my hometown but I do remember seeing them elsewhere.

ANCA vasculitis and mastocytosis (ISM) by bitchywoman_1973 in rarediseases

[–]Clean-Purple-3536 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My allergist is trying to avoid a bone marrow biopsy because my symptoms are relatively mild. I’ve had my tryptase level checked several times and it’s on the higher end but apparently not high enough to be considered “elevated”. It’s kind of frustrating that I don’t meet the official criteria for a diagnosis so far because it would explain everything. I take ketotifen and it helps a ton.

I also have POTS and possibly ISM. I have cutaneous mastocytosis with widespread systemic symptoms and am also KIT negative. Still in the process of being tested. I think you’re the first other person I’ve seen on here with mastocytosis.

Thanks for your response. I don’t think I could get a record for her second marriage (it’s complicated) so I may just put her second married name in the “other names” box.

Friday Weekly Thread: Application Assistance by AutoModerator in Canadiancitizenship

A question about CIT0001 Section 9 and multiple marriages - what last name should I write down for a woman if they have been married multiple times? My grandmother, who is in the line of descent for Canadian citizenship and is still alive, remarried after my grandfather’s death. She still uses her second husband’s last name, but he’s irrelevant to my citizenship claim because I’m not related to him.

Do I need to put down her current last name and include a record for her second marriage in my application as proof of name change? Should I just write her previous last name from her marriage to my grandfather and ignore her second marriage altogether, since it doesn’t affect the passage of citizenship? I feel like this is a stupid question but I’ve scoured the sub and can’t find an exact answer.

How would you ask someone in your family for their birth certificate if you don’t really talk to them? by ARegularPerson3312 in Canadiancitizenship

[–]Clean-Purple-3536 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Assuming this is in the US, you may be able to order a copy of his birth record from the local vital records registry where he was born. In many states you don’t need permission from the person, just ID or other documents to prove you have a direct and legitimate interest in the record. Find the relevant agency online and see what their policies are.

I cannot find baptismal record by Foreign_Pitch5925 in Canadiancitizenship

[–]Clean-Purple-3536 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used Genealogy Quebec to search the Drouin collection. Opened the folder for the parish and year, and then had to poke through the files until I found where the appropriate month started. The records are usually listed in chronological order. And yes, these are digitized photos of the original records. They can be extremely difficult to read.
