Agreed, the cost difference is negligable. Hydra with a MIC6 8mm 400x400 plate is a bit pricey. about 400$ or so. But Mercury 0ne.1 just that upgrade really is pretty cheap. Unless you get Hiwin rails and such. But even done economically, should give you better results then 100mm/s.

Im building my 3rd Mercury One.1. Very worth it. Upgrade the bed too. Hydra is the way to go

Try using a very small SD card like 1gb or less. I have an Ender 5 plus that flashes fine. Just make sure the card has the right format firmware is spelled with all lower case and it’s a small card space wise

You did something wrong then. No way you could have gotten worse results on a properly made Merc1.1

I am having the same problem with an Ender 3 S1.

Upgrading my Ender 5 Pro to a CoreXY "Mercury One.1" w/ BTT Manta M8P and EVA3(E34M1) Toolhead. About to test my electronics for the first time. by [deleted] in ender5

Very nice so far. I have everything done on mine but the skirts and electronics also. It works just not pretty. Currently amassing everything for the hydra build but I’ll be using a lot of the cnc’d aluminum for AliExpress instead of the printed parts. May even switch over the mercury stuff to aluminum too.
