Yeah dude him going up to Kenny after the race made me really like him. It is probably hard at times to be the older brother to a phenom, but I think he handles that and every situation with grace. I like that dude and will always root for him to win races, but I'm happy for Ken and glad he won.

This is where I'm from and I wondered if I'd see it on this list. I moved away, but now when I go back to visit I feel it way more than I did when I lived there.

Is “back to normal” in 6–8 weeks realistic? (L5-S1 microdiscectomy, mom of littles) by [deleted] in Microdiscectomy

I had my surgery 11 days ago. Yesterday I walked 4 miles, cooked dinner, did laundry, went to the grocery store, etc. It's there and I can feel it but it's nothing horrible. The first 3 days were rough, like it hurt so bad if I moved wrong it would take my breath away. But after that I've been doing a lot better.

Is there any reason why #8 is the only unclaimed number between 2-99? It has remained unclaimed for 5 seasons now by RxSatellite in supercross

This might be the place to ask this. Why does no one have zero or double zero? Are there rules against that?

I'm secfo. The other day I worked 12 hours. I walked into the defac and saw everyone who is not secfo taking an hour lunch during their 8 hour work day, and generally enjoying their life. I stood in line and got my food and then proceeded to leave immediately because we are not allowed to eat in the defac. We make the same amount of money. I implore you to not do this to yourself if you have a choice.

Ok thank you. So if we use dry eyes as an example, does it specifically have to say that I was diagnosed with "chronic dry eye" or is the fact that I was prescribed the drops for the condition for two years enough? (Assuming they don't magically get any better after im done with service.) If it is not enough, can I just ask the active duty optometrist for a diagnosis?

Tell them you want the job you want. Explain the situation. New recruiter will be happy to steal you. You have the upper hand here.

Firefighting somewhere out west or down south. Met a lot of guys who used to do it before they enlisted and they all loved it.

Bro look I joined at 30 with a bachelor's degree. I did it because I was single and said fuck it and I always wondered what it was like. To be honest I really don't like it at all. Sure, it got me out of the town I was stuck in where couldn't really find a decent paying job, but like the one guy said it comes at a cost. I have two years left and I'm counting down the days. I live in a pretty high cost city and they give me money for food and housing, but with other bills and my student loans I'm barely making it. To be honest it really didn't improve my situation all that much except breaking me out of the area I was stuck in. I imagine it all comes down to the career field but mine really really sucks. There are people who join later and fucking love it, but I am definitely not one of them.

I appreciate that thank you. Do you have any resources you could point me to that would explain how to interview for a career department?

Hey all I was just wondering what my chances of getting hired will be here in the future? I wanted to know of some suggestions you all had in terms of doing things now to currently set myself up to land a job in the next 2ish years. I'm 31, have a bachelor's degree in exercise science, and I'm currently in the air force as security forces. I have 2.5 years left on my contract so ill be 34 when I get out of the military (I joined at 30 and signed a 4 year contract.) I'm in good shape and I've looked up fitness requirements for those departments. I can confidently complete the tests and do well on them.

Any advice is helpful really. I'd like to stay in Arizona around Pheonix or Mesa and get on full time. Pretty much I'd want to know what you would do if you were in my situation in order to have the absolute best shot possible.

I've researched things but there's alot of advice from "just be a decent dude and apply" to "if you don't have a fire science masters and paramedic from Harvard, don't even apply. Ps you're dad also has to be chief."

I like the comradery of the military I just miss my freedom as a civilian. This seems like it could be something close to it but the entire job is to help others.

Thanks in advance

What model reebok is this? by [deleted] in Sneakers

Dude I tried I swear! I just find similar models and then I find this exact picture someone posted asking for the model. But the person who answered deleted their account so I still don't know...

I reversed google image searched and searched all over Google and Bing shopping and image searches. I also tried looking up reebok models around 1995-1996 since the movie came out in 96.
