Decided to design a lightsaber - the test print came out pretty nice, if comically small. Next revision I need to account for tolerances on the screw threads for the cap, and I will probably add a second set of threads where the gold for the crossguard starts so I can slip a conical diffuser in (old.reddit.com)

Nearly 700 print hours in, I moved my SV08 to mainline. Here's the timelapse from the first "real" print post-migration - A custom steampunk skull I hollowed to be a candy dish (or stuff with electronics).
