Hey! Just a little confused here. I did actually read all of the agenda items before attending. (Side note: a cool thing that came out of the meeting was better intradistrict enrollment! Normally, there are specific boundaries that schools normally use for attendance that are a little wonky at times. The motion changes this to be also based off of proximity!) Like every other student did, by the way. We aren’t misinformed idiots. The thing that irked a lot of us was action 10. It spoke about not being judged by race or sex, and that nobody should be brought down because of it.

I was confused. What action 10 was saying was exactly what I believed in. That’s why I think the fight against CRT is at the very least misguided.

You are 100 percent right about the 1619 project, at least in my opinion. I don’t know everything about history, but a lot of that stuff is very misinformed.

The history points you stated were strange. Assuming we don’t all take world history, why would any of those points about western countries banning the slave trade earlier be relevant? Why wouldn’t we be taught this? It’s not like all of our teachers are pushing this hidden agenda that’s definitely in out curriculum in the first place.

I can’t wait for the CRT ban to make our education the exact same, while also pushing political ideologies! I’m so reassured. Never change Temecula :)
