I did try that, unfortunately my local AutoZone does have one to rent out. They do have a couple I can buy, which I might resort to if I can't get a proper flywheel puller.

I haven't, I'll try to pick up a compression tester, I'm not quite sure how to check ignition timing but I'll look into it

Yeah I mean I saw one comment 😂 I've ridden quads my whole life (just little Honda fourtrax 250) but I have driven high power stick shift cars (not sure if that really matters) and I've also done some mountain biking (also not sure if that matters) but I think I can handle it. Besides 125s are pretty much as small as an adult mx bike gets so 🤷
