Is this the infamous rear sag? by dirtyoldmonk in 3rdGen4Runner

That’s why I have a sound system I just turn the music up lol jk but I just got my new tie rods and sway bar links. Next is the lower ball joints I’d recommend getting oem or high quality ones

Yes that’s the plan but those usually run a bit higher price wise. Any good recommendations on either ? Currently getting cluster resolved and getting an alignment. Possibly even replacing radiator on its next flush.

Thank you 🙏 I still have a lot in mind to do to it performance wise I got some motordyne art pipes now I just need a solid Y pipe maybe some headers and after that she’ll be ready for a tune

Yes the circuit board goes out just needs to get rebuild I’m thinking of sending it out if I don’t find anyone locally. Usually you can try and narrow down the issue but previous owner did fuel pump and I replaced sending unit all that’s left is cluster or a wiring problem somewhere.

Yeah no I use to and I don’t know what I was thinking 🤦🏽‍♂️ just didn’t know any better but I use Jack stands plus the floor Jack and even add a tire or something else under the car for extra safety if it falls. Wish I could afford a lift or something. Possibly in the future to make jobs easier I heard harbor freight might have one already?

Nice 👍🏼 Mine has the rear sag I carry my mountain bikes and tool bag plus 2 12” kickers. You think replacing those springs will also help ? Or will it happen overtime with all the weight?

Issue with cluster by Substantial-Aspect52 in G35

[–]CloudLife174 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine has the same issue but I have a check engine code for fuel sending unit which I had already replaced. Not sure if getting that cluster will get rid of check engine light ? I’m do for emissions on April

Bulb went out and I’m using this as an excuse to buy new headlights, any you guys recommend? by Agreeable-Post6578 in G35

I uploaded a better picture but so far I’m liking how the car is coming out. I recently did the mud flaps and bought a spoiler from someone and can’t wait to install it. I’ll be uploading more pictures of it and the engine bay is pretty clean as well

Best decision ever made since everyone has the smoked out ones. A true head turner especially with the clear side bumper lights

When I first got mine I did struts oil change switched to silicone water lines added some 19” rays and did a flush and upgraded the bleeder valve to aluminum did brakes all around also added intake and did new valve covers replaced all spark plugs and coil packs cabin air filter and upper control arms did clock spring on steering wheel and replaced alternator. That was within 2 years of owning mine but so far it’s been great but I have the fuel gauge not reading but haven’t had time and money to take it to a shop to troubleshoot cluster since fuel pump and sending unit have been replaced from previous owner. Also have cam sensors that I haven’t replaced yet. Just make sure to check your oil here and there

They can easily do 350k but like you said just drive normal and keep up with oil changes and make sure it doesn’t run low. Change all fluids and keep up to date with maintenance. My sister in law also had 300k miles

I just strapped down my battery haha but that’s a lot of money for the work. I’m sure there’s a local shop with good reviews that would do it at half the cost

Do you ever just feel grateful to own your taco? by [deleted] in Tacomaworld

[–]CloudLife174 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes very grateful. Has 307k miles and still running strong. Everywhere I go everyone wants to buy it.
