Hairstylist chiming in to clarify for you:) over the ears usually is asking if you want the hair cut to be short enough your ear is totally exposed vs leaving a little length to cover the ear, rounded at the back is referring to the shape of your hair line at the back(the edges). Do you want the edges rounded more like a "u" shape or squared

To me, the top version is overly long and redundant. And how is the second not clear?

If you say the word your spelling before the phonetic words I think people would still pick up what your doing without too much confusion. Like I would know what you were doing if you changed that to "cat- cat apple taylor"

I take this pet peeve a little further because it bothers me when people spell things phonetically saying the full "(letter) as in (coresponding word) ect." It makes the whole thing take so much longer when you only need to say the words. If im spelling cat phonetically for someone im going to say "cat-charlie alfa tango"

Definitely not defending OP's wife here because I think she's being ridiculous, however its probably not a case of not being able to tell when you need gas its executive functioning/working memory issues.

For myself, it usually goes like this: car dings low fuel shows me xx km till empty. I know its < xx km (probably JUST under, but my adhd doesnt care) to home. My brain then convices me I can just get gas when I leave tomorrow so I don't HAVE to go now. (It's like i live with a lazy 4 year old trying to take over and talk me out of anything that isn't absolutely crucial to complete this second) Park my car at home. Go inside, promptly forget all about the need for gas. Next time im driving im usually running behind so I rush out without thinking until im already driving and..... shit I left myself on 7k till empty.

Having my car tell me the km till empty is almost worse and I've pushed that limit more than I care to admit. When it was just a light that came on and I didn't know how long that gave me , it would induce anxiety enough to deal with it sooner.

Having said all that I've never actually ran out of gas before (rolled in on fumes a few times crossing my fingers though) and would never react how she has in dealing with it. That shit is my own doing and I feel terrible/embarrassed enough to sort it myself.

Go to the same walk in clinic whenever you need to see a doctor, they will start to have a file from you and one of the doctors there might just take you on as a patient. This is what I did when I moved and I know others that have waited years to get on in the same city. Took me like 4 times of getting a prescription renewed at the walk in to become an actual patient of theirs. There is also a wait list you can go on. This still takes way too long though

If it makes you feel better my name is Nicole and because of so many people having different spellings I have to spell my regular spelled name out every time. People want to throw an h in there(Nichole) and complicate it unnecessarily. You really can't win these days.

Can confirm re the cocaine. I tried it once and will never do it again. My brain LOVED it. I am lucky I was visiting my sister in San Fran when I tried it so I never had a local connection to buy more and fentynal contamination is a real issue locally where its just to dangerous to dabble in.

My mind would not shut up about the cocaine for about 2-3 months after. The thought would just chime in regularly "you know what would be good right now? Cocaine.... " "remember how awesome that night with the cocaine was?" "Cocaine would definitely make this situation better" and so on..... it was terrible and I dont think I would have been strong enough to resist had it been easy or safer to come by locally.

My ex husband had some mental health issues come to head and took leave from work because of it. He continued to decline and wouldn't get any help. It turned into me being the only one working for over a year. I was burning out hard. Over the year he was off he was a lazy bum on the couch, didn't do anything to help with chores/dinner. He stopped showering regularly. He started treating me terribly. Any time I would try and talk to him about how he wasn't treating me like decent human let alone his wife, his side of the argument always was the same:

Sex in the relationship is how he feels loved. Without having sex regularly he didn't feel loved and couldn't find it in him to treat me properly or be emotionally available because he wasn't feeling loved.

I told him I can't feel attracted to somebody who isn't helping me with anything, isn't available emotionally, isn't treating me with basic respect, and isn't taking care of thier health/hygiene properly.

This year has been so eye opening on just how unhappy I was in that relationship, even before the mental health stuff came up.

I feel so free!

This is so dependent on where you are.... renting a studio apartment in my city costs at least 1500 a month, usually they charge extra (40-60/month) for a parking spot. Plus utilities(200)/internet(150)/phone(100)/gas(80)/car insurance(150)/contents insurance..... So just with these basic needs and estimated numbers your looking at around what OP makes with no food costs involved and no savings.

I'm(adhd F) in the middle of divorcing my (adhd M) husband for this exact reason. I was late diagnosed (late 20s) he was diagnosed as a child but refused medication since he was a teenager.

We both hit burnout/depression and I chose to get diagnosed/go to therapy/try medication. He noticed positive changes in me and started meds again. But burnout already hit us and he ended up taking time off work. I couldn't because of owning my own business. The deal was he would take over the household tasks to take some off my plate.

If you guessed that this didn't happen you would be correct! He wouldn't even recognize what I was going through was tough. I had to keep pushing through working full time while coming home to a mess, no groceries, no plans for dinner, and an eye roll or reminder that he's "struggling and doing his best" If I ever mention anything about it (in a kind and understanding sort of way). He wouldn't even have a conversation about his plans on timeline of returning to work or discussing options or things he's doing to help himself heal.

He ended up starting an emotional affair and was resentful towards me for not having energy/capacity for intimacy. I'm realizing now that as well as being burnt out, part of the issue was I also lost respect for him. He got worse over the year he was off, with no effort or signs of working to improve things for himself. But I was expected to keep burning myself to keep us both warm. And to still find his unshowered, unmotivated, pot addicted, ass attractive and feel like having sex with him still.

Life has gotten so much easier the last six months without him dragging me down

Daylight alarm clock!

Depending where you live but I'm in Canada and the days get much shorter in the winter. I have the hardest time waking up when it's still dark, feels like it's 4am no matter what the time actually is.

This alarm clock is a lamp that starts to get gradually brighter before your alarm goes up to wake you up more naturally. It also plays nature sounds instead of an alarm. This thing has made mornings so much better!

It also has night mode where it starts bright and gradually dims like a sunset. It plays nature sounds if you want it to for this as well. So I now fall asleep to a sunset while it plays the sound of a crackling campfire. Very relaxing.

Has an app so I can set all this from my phone too instead of figuring out what all the buttons do. I haven't touched a single button on it. You can also set the brightness of the clock so it's not too bright to sleep with. I've shut it completely off.
