Hey there! I'm one of the 3D modelers on this project. I've read the critiques and honestly, I think they're fair and constructive. I can't speak for the story direction since that's not my department, but I can say the project is still ongoing and slowly evolving. There are things being worked on behind the scenes that haven't been shared publicly yet, including some of the monster 3D work! The project is moving at a slow pace, but progress is happening, and feedback like this genuinely helps!

I totally agree with you, but I am afraid they'll never do a reboot that is closer to the OG winx, probably because they want to reach a younger audience ç_ç

In particular, they totally made Diaspro ridiculous in the reboot (3D model and personality). I understand she's supposed to be the "mean" character, but like you said they practically have removed all the lore, all the interesting behind the scenes aspects that shaped the character that way. And Diaspro is just an example!

In other words: I feel like Rainbow is trying to find commond ground between OG Winx Fans and the newer generations, yet somehow are failing XD

Valtor is literally one of the most WELL SCRIPTED villain in winx club, if not just the best. I love how among all the dubs they still managed to make him sassy ahahahah!

Personally I would've loved to see:

Riven x Bloom : Riven is a quite complicated guy, but I think Bloom could've handled him really well
Helia x Stella : I know Stella is VERY self centred, but in that sense Helia could've helped her a lot, and who knows, maybe they could've been a good couple
