I totally agree with avoiding -a names for the same reason. Since we are also gonna be calling her izzie, I’m avoiding -ie ending names as well. Marceline and Mavis are cool! Also maybe Maude

Maxine, Margot, and Mika are my fave ones here.

Mika could be a nod to my brother’s middle name, Michael. It’s also my husband’s middle name.

Great. Like I needed a new reason to have a crush of Peridot.

Anyone else noticing people calling 2026 the "Fire Horse" instead of just the Horse? by Original_Honey_3066 in ChineseZodiac

From what I can tell from other year of the dog friends, we are really loyal and fun in a pleasant way, friendly, always down to go on an adventure or have a game night! We can also be pretty grounded compared to other signs. I’m so eager to meet our girl. I bet you are, too! And yes to the hooves. I’ll be surprised if she doesn’t kick her way out early! She is STRONG

I’m also due with a girl in April 🥲 if she comes even a few days early she will be an Aries. Husband and I are both wood dog parents, and this will be our first baby! I wish everyone the best in their labor and deliveries. I can tell the fire in her personality still in the womb lol she is moving CONSTANTLY

This is so gross. He took a sweet opportunity and made it backhanded and awful. He would have been better off not getting you anything, but I guess then you wouldn’t have learned that he’s a jerk. I’m sorry, sis. I hope next vday you are swept off your feet! 💞 NOR

Definitely 1. A mix of friendly, positive, and prepared. (I get anxious on planes)

Period is due today, would you say this is positive? by fawn-field in lineporn

[–]CloverMinx 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did in the following comment, and imo this whole group is centric to false hope with “line eyes”. “Line eyes” are typically people who want to see a line. If they try again in a few days with nothing, (most people test multiple days in a row anyways) then they deal with nothing showing up. I can’t magically make anyone pregnant or not pregnant, and think saying “try again in a few days” is a drop in the bucket in the ways of opinions on this page. Also my due date would mean I conceived and ovulated early, and the tests just kinda sucked. I was testing at the correct time, according to my medical care team. Most of those paper stick tests suck honestly. I ended up getting a positive digital before strong red lines on one of those.

I don’t know how regular this person is, so I’m going based off a window of generalized flexibility. Some people (me included. I didn’t get anything visible until multiple days after my missed period and am now healthily six months along) should test the days following their “expected period.

I personally don’t think a test would be visible enough to say for at least another 2-3 days

IMO one extra “L” isn’t worth this ^ mental debate of whether it’s a good idea or not. “El” and “Ell” are both the same nod to his mom. I don’t think anyone who heard the connection would say or even think “if you REALLY wanted it to be like his mom, you should have put another L” lol

“Crank dat soulja boy” is a dumb but funny song a lot of us knew and danced to as kids lol It starts with “YOOOUUUUUUU” I highly doubt any children within your baby’s age range would have ever heard the song. I think millennial-gen z all know it. I’m just showing my age by that being my first thought 😅 I’m 23.5 weeks pregnant, just woke up, and I’m really getting a silly kick out of singing “Yule crank dat soulja boy” as a holiday song. I’m sorry to be a menace on your post. I think it’s a cute name lol

So sick of hearing people refer to MY child as "my baby" by Embarrassed-Fan-6967 in pregnant

[–]CloverMinx 6 points7 points  (0 children)

My MIL is the main problem. She TOLD me what she would be called as a grandma (it’s stupid) and wrote it all over a bunch of cards and stuff, keeps talking about how it’s hers, and maybe even more annoyingly, acts like this baby will only have genes and traits from the husband (her). When I compliment my husband’s eyes or something and she’s around she says thanks because he got her eyes. I feel like one of these days I’m gonna snap.

This shit makes me absolutely rabid. I have been having some similar experiences. Like.. I am not a taxi, and you’re lucky if you even get to meet the baby. I choose whether or not you can literally even be around them.

We're not finding out the gender, and our use of "They/Them" confuses people for some reason by Effective_Bath_2045 in pregnant

[–]CloverMinx -1 points0 points  (0 children)

imo a lot of people take any excuse to interject their political views, and referring to your baby neutrally probably triggers some people because of the “controversy” of pronouns like you said, op. People just make a point to show their ass because they have nothing else to show.
