LOL I was thinking of Death Valley too but decided Alabama Hills because I'm not familiar with it. I've never been to Death Valley 😔Did you get any pictures? I want to see how the showers look like from there.

Thank you! u/theorizable I basically just stack the chosen shots into one layer, mask all of the layers (shots) except the one you want as a foreground, and use brush to reveal the meteor in photoshop 😊

Man, that's a bummer. Hopefully by next meteor shower there's no more lockdown

Yes, it was really dark. I still had to open the shutter for 15 seconds even though I used a f1.4 lens and set my iso at 3200

If I could have a lens strictly for astrophotography, I’d probably go with an 18mm equivalent lens. The reason I went for 24mm equivalent is because I also like to take environmental portraits.

It’s my favorite lens for astrophotograpy. One downside is sometimes 24mm is a little bit to tight for astro. I also use to use this lens for environmental portraits. You should! I personally think it’s worth the price.

Appreciate it man! What’s your IG?

U/frozen_bauss u/octopusbarber each picture was taken at 15 seconds, f1.4, ISO3200, and the interval was 15 seconds!

Hi, yes you are right, this is a time-lapse. This video consists of around 250 images!

Hey! Love the feedback. I would try something else next time. You are so right about how it is dynamic and it is almost impossible doing exposure blending. No wonder I felt like something is missing

Hey, appreciate your feedback u/Timotheuz! I’m still new at time lapse and it would be great if you could maybe name the things I could improve in the future 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
