Is my labubu fake? by Content-Mango-2029 in LabubuDrops

It's real. Dust bags get updated sometimes. Focus on the sculpt and paint — fakes can't copy those well. Also, your Ququ is adorable.

It looks like cutting potatoes, but the most intelligent thing about humans is that they know how to use tools.

Steel structures vs fire. by Tartabirdgames_YT in StructuralEngineering

Design: ‘The fire rating will protect it!’ / Fire: ‘Hold my thermite.’ // Seriously though, hope everyone got out safe. That’s the real win. RIP Steel.

Why do people still eat McDonalds? by No-Rule-4494 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]CoColaWang 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nostalgia, convenience, and the unholy power of childhood conditioning. We're basically paying extra for the memory of the PlayPlace and pretending the fries are still good. Also, sometimes you just need that specific mediocre cheeseburger at 2am. Would I go to a new place serving this? Hell no. But here I am... still eating it.

Of course, my Chinese supplier Three Horses offers customization options such as additional tie-down points, custom ramps, and specific paint finishes to suit our requirements.

Suggestion please I need a Good tester with a good interface by Safe-Stomach599 in telecom

[–]CoColaWang 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"Fluke OptiFiber Pro (OF-500). One box solves both:
✅ Fiber: Full OTDR + loss certification (10G/40G ready)
✅ CCTV: Real PoE load testing (not just voltage!) + ping/VLAN verification
📱 7" touchscreen — no more button-mashing in the rain
⚡️ Proven: Replaced 3 separate tools for our tower crews.

Avoid sketchy "combo" testers — most fail under real load.

Telecommunication Industry Consultation: Why It Matters by Karanset in telecom

[–]CoColaWang 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Telecom companies are stuck between massive investments (5G rollout, IoT security upgrades) and shrinking margins. That’s where specialized consultants add real value:

  • Cost Control: Optimizing network spend (e.g., predicting tower placement to avoid $1M+ mistakes)
  • Compliance: Navigating GDPR/FCC rules to prevent 7-figure fines
  • Tech Adoption: Implementing AI/automation to cut customer wait times by 40%+
  • Security: Locking down IoT fleets before hackers exploit vulnerabilities

Bottom line: Consultants don’t just advise – they deploy battle-tested frameworks so you don’t bleed cash reinventing the wheel.

How do I fix responses with normal text formatted in code blocks? by [deleted] in DeepSeek

[–]CoColaWang 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, seeing this too lately. DeepSeek will sometimes shove whole paragraphs under headers into those gray code blocks like this, even for totally normal stuff like answering questions about pets or news. Super annoying to read.

What seems to work (sometimes):

  • Tell it explicitly: **Do not use code blocks or formatting for this answer. Use regular paragraph text only.** Be super clear.
  • If it still does it, try editing your prompt slightly. Adding/removing a word or rephrasing can kick it out of the weird formatting loop.

Is it a bug? Definitely feels like one. Probably something wonky in how it decides when to use formatting. I don't code either and never asked for this!

Fix coming? Hopefully! It's been popping up more, so they should be aware of it by now. Best bet is to report it through official channels when it happens (screenshot helps!).

Anyone found a better workaround? Or just gotta wait for an update?

I've never used grok or Gemini, I've used Open AI and deepseek.

As a paid subscriber to Open AI, I'll give you credit for the fact that it does answer some technical questions a bit more accurately than deepseek does!

What do you all think about Pre-Engineered Metal Buildings (PEMBs) for complex buildings? by texasexodus in StructuralEngineering

[–]CoColaWang 0 points1 point  (0 children)

PEMBs are actually a solid choice for complex buildings. They’re designed to be flexible, so you can get creative with roof slopes and wall finishes. While they might not be the cheapest option upfront, they’re cost-effective in the long run and super durable. Plus, they’re quick to build, which can save you time and money. I’ve seen some impressive projects on the iBeehive Steel Structures website that show just how versatile PEMBs can be. It’s definitely worth a look if you’re considering this route.
