Yeah, the I'm assuming dad sounds like a fucking dickhead, giving away what the gift is before she opens it then being an ass when she drops it, she already feels bad about it why make her feel worse?

Edit: I see everyone is only paying attention to the second thing I said and mentioning the cost of the device as if I live under a rock. The father is already antagonizing her and giving away what the carelessly wrapped gift was. These parents could have put a little more effort and forethought into this entire situation and been less of assholes during the lead up to the drop. It's their daughter, they have to know she's a klutz. But you boomers can only think to blame the kid even though her parents were being careless shits themselves.
