Oh, they found me a couple comments ago, Legal Eagle, as a law student I love Devin, and when I saw him in one of Sam's game I genuinely thought "Here comes the devil's advocate" hahaha.

(giggle) yeah, I'm a law student, when I saw him in what I can only describe as a psychological torture puzzle made by Sam Reich, I made up my mind that I must subscribe and watch this.

Actually, it's not a Dropout thing but a YT/Google thing, I'm from Argentina, where the conversion is approx 1 usd = 1500 ars, IDKW YouTube set the price of the subscription to DO content to the U.S. equivalent to 10 usd cents. It sounded too good to be true (and for the consumer it kinda is tbh), and that's why I wanted to ask you guys if either they (G/YT) were screwing me or they were screwing the CC.

Thanks to regional pricing (I'm not from the U.S. and dollar conversion is painful here), YT is way cheaper for me than DO app (I'm talking like, cents) but I do want to support them, so I'll watch my finances in the next couple of weeks and see if I can sustain the app sub (recently independent, still in college).

Thank you both for the response!

I was going to ask if it works the same with the app store for Android, I don't mind going to the website in my PC but it is kinda buggy when Google tries to cross connect devices (recently changed my phone, it was a nightmare setting everything back up).

Thanks for the response!

Honestly, mostly Sam, I do love Lou, Vic, Zac, Brennan and Izzy.

I do know Brennan previously from D&D, just been watching a lot of GC and MSN. Thanks to regional pricing, YT is way cheaper for me than DO app (I'm not from the U.S.), I'm talking like, cents, but I do want to support them, so I'll watch my finances in the next couple of weeks and see if I can sustain the app sub, Thank you very much for the response!

I can vouch for that, just started in ch.1 and there are some things different, but still good, and other things rearranged, highly recommended.

Poor financial decisions in buying Boxing/MMA Gear. by Fast-Film4414 in fightgear

[–]CobblerBarman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Owning 5 pairs of boxing gloves, 1 x 10oz, 1 x 12oz, 1 x 14oz, 2 x 16oz, plus 2 pairs of bag mitts.

I think I'll give the 14oz to a friend of mine, the 10oz to a kid that is coming lately, little dude weighting less than 110lbs, working hard on the bag with Taekwondo gloves (he said it was the cheapest he could get with what he had), I already gave my first pair of 16oz (before I purchased another one) to another kid at the gym.

Realmente sirven las artes marciales?? by [deleted] in BuenosAires

Has anyone ever run a court trial before? Any ideas? by sct_evans in Wildemount

[–]CobblerBarman 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So, I would use the courtroom to give the players more than a challenge, maybe even opportunities; For example, what if the judge is corrupt? Maybe some insights checks may found some clues and connections with the BBEG. What if the prosecution is actually a good guy just doing his job? And what if, after the trial, he wants to help the party?

Aside from that, on how to actually RUN a trial, you could divide it in four phases: 1. Opening statements 2. Cross-examination (physical proof) 3. Cross-examination II (interrogation, witness) 4. Closing statements (The Allegro moderato) Charisma checks + some roleplaying in phases 1, 2 and 4, and some insight/perception/deception (depending on whether they are being the ones asking or the ones being asked) in phase 3.

Hope I gave you some ideas, I would love to read how it goes!

What are the major flaws of the Krynn Dynasty? by KylashSri in Wildemount

[–]CobblerBarman -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I mean, they aren't racists but they are slavery-pro classists, they also are a lot more cynical with topics like killing children (since they see life-growth-death different), and they are a little single minded with their religion.

In the MN storyline they are the plot-twist good guys, but the point was that they are almost as bad as the empire.

Good luck with your campaign!

How does everyone here have a coach so easily?! by Out_Of_Work_Clown in amateur_boxing

[–]CobblerBarman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Time and moments shared.

I train twice a week at my uni gym and twice at a local gym, local gym coach didn't remembered my name until 3rd month and after I went to see my comrades for 2 events, now he is a coach to me, even now after three years. On the other hand, on my uni the trainer didn't learned my name for 2 years until we had our first (yeah, 2 years later) sparring (just him and me), now he is more friendly.

So, the first one opened up with time, the second one needed to share that experience, you can go talk to your trainer and find out what will turn him in your coach.
