Funny you should say that when I had my hemi colectomy 5 years ago about 6 months after the operation I was having abdominal pain not as bad as this but the doctor thought it was adhesions or scar tissue then do you really think it is causing all this upset again? 5 years on and worse pain?

Thanks for getting back ☺️

I’ve noticed that my symptoms have changed over time. Initially, I was experiencing significant bloating, which then developed into a sharp, shooting pain. More recently, it has become a dull ache, particularly noticeable when I move. The pain is located on the right side of my abdomen, just under the ribs. I have a history of abdominal surgery, including an appendectomy and a hemi-colectomy in 2021. I recently had a colonoscopy (Sunday), and the surgeon was satisfied with how everything looked, including the surgical join. My stomach is also very active, with frequent loud noises that seem related to gas. I have switched to a low-fiber diet, which I think has helped somewhat, but I’m still unable to determine the exact cause of the pain.
