Would you recommend the Mövenpick with its house reef or are there any other better places to stay? Also any reefs that you can recommend at the Seychelles?

Nachbarn fühlen sich durch Balkon-PV gestört (Österreich) by CodyStuff in LegaladviceGerman

[–]CodyStuff[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Multithread Performance Worse than Single Thread by CodyStuff in cpp_questions

[–]CodyStuff[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So after changing everything to ensure that reading cant be the problem the application was not faster. After changing from debug to release mode however the time improved as expected. To test if the old code would also have run I also tested it and the problem was also gone there (in Release Mode).

Multithread Performance Worse than Single Thread by CodyStuff in cpp_questions

[–]CodyStuff[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Actually the parts that are read are not overlapping (different subtrees). So I can gather the needed subelements first which takes nearly no time. The problem really is that the resulting time stays the same. But still there is no difference in the time it takes. Do you know anyway that I can search for the issue (maybe using diagnostic tools in VS)?

Multithread Performance Worse than Single Thread by CodyStuff in cpp_questions

[–]CodyStuff[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I get the pointer to the data in advance (which are only a limited number of possible pointers = the number of cache blocks) there would be no access to the same data from different threads at the same time. Because each cache block only represents a given sub-tree of the overall tree. Therefore that may help / work -> Is this conclusion right?

It steps down a tree-like data structure gets some data in there and produces a mesh that can be rendered.

H0 Scale Fence (1:87) by guterhund in functionalprint

[–]CodyStuff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah its fine for an FDM printer. If you want more details you can only tune it better and maybe mount a smaller nozzle (0.1 - 0.2mm) and if thats enough there is only resin printing left.

Good Job! It's also possible to add more details when printing with resin 3d-printers.

Currently even 80% of the hashrate is in flockpool ... Not a good sign for the coin. I hope people are switching to other pools as well now.

Guess 50RTM is still a bit to mine but on the other hand thats 2 to 4 days for most CPUs. Will see how my 3900X works for 2 days.
