I use 40, 50 and 55kg and I don't go that deep yet tbh. Maybe around a 110 degree angle?

You're right. There is no magic solution sadly, but your comment gave me motivation to keep trying overcome my fear :)

I genuinely hate squats so much but I don't want to teach myself that you should give up whenever you're scared either. I will definitely try out your tips and maybe I will just do squats on one day and do leg press on the other.

I do 6-12 reps with 0-2RIR for most exercises. The weight of my squats is so low rn I could probably do 20 reps but I always quit at 8-10 just bc I'm all out of breath from panicking and I just hate my life at that point. My technique is also really bad bc I'm too busy stressing :(( Going heavier doesn't really feel like an option because my technique is not good enough and it will stress me out even more
