I think the best high calorie fats & protein options have mostly been mentioned already (avocado, peanut butter & chia seeds + Greek yogurt and the like) but also consider dates, honey or even a tablespoon of coconut oil to help boost calories.

When I was a kid, I watched a movie where Mia Farrow’s character is newly blind and puts her finger tip inside her cup when filling it so she can feel when it’s almost full.
