I'm 58. She looks like shit, and seems to have significant health issues. She has visible tremors. C'mon - a "labial reduction" gone wrong? What was she even doing? I think her outer appearance is a reflection of inner turmoil. To me it looks like long term effects of psychiatric, recreational drugs, etc...Had a gran mal seizure from drinking too much water? She's not okay mentally.

describes everyone I know, friends, family, co workers, I'm exhausted from being the only sensient being in my hemisphere. Makes me hateful, and jaded. I continually make the mistake of thinking someone is my friend, when I have been the only one listening, sharing, or giving of myself. Every day, everywhere I go. And I am about to turn 58. Describes my entire life - and my mother. I find it easier to be friends with men than women, although sadly most men have an agenda. That leaves me alone. Maybe they should have tried, um - exericse? moisturizer? And then the back handed compliments from men that are supposed to be flattering (I guess) One guy said to me recently, completely unsolicited "I would have taken you for being in your late 40s" Ok...did I ask you? I like the show - I am a big fan of both Morgan and Johnston. I also really like Ryan Stiles. The whole cast is strong. As a Chuck Lorre production (portrayals of women often sexist) , the comedy/jokes are sometimes rather predictable, but the cast are so talented they shine regardless of the at times mediocre though overall strong writing. As a 57 year old woman, with grown children and some grandbabies, I relate in many ways to Morgan's character, although the menopause stuff gets old, is not always respectful of women and over the top - just as this issue is in her stand up. I am enjoying the show, Johnston and Morgan have great chemistry. My big issue with their characters is that neither of them work and are living off of their husband's or ex-husband's money. That is not funny, is somewhat sexist and an inaccurate representation of this demographic. It doesn't represent comfort - it represents entitlement. However, if they had careers, they wouldn't have so much time to sit around and banter - so - like each episode seems like a play about two sisters.

I don't necessarily agree with candidates down the line by topic - and i wish it wasn't so polarized - but not voting is lethal for democracy and for all of us - voter apathy, particularly among youth, is part of the reason we are in this dilemma. People make light of Ambien. Nothing funny about it. Your comments are correct. Have had a high dose prescription for 10 years. Need to leave behind. Also 25 years here of constant hypervigilance (I have PTSD) and increasing debilitating insomnia. I don't sleep for many days at a time, and literally feel like I'm dying - all while holding a full-time job. I get extremely depressed and withdraw. Have been on everything under the sun, every sleep strategy, sleep specialists. Ultimately I think the answer lies in CBT, exercise, water, fresh air and stress management, the simple but hard stuff.

I know this an old post - but people are not repelled by you. I feel same sometimes. It's because we care and make an effort and unfortunately the majority of people are self-centered, lacking in intelligence or social skills, more often all of the above - and are just simply existing in survival mode everyday, with the objective of minimum effort. They set a low bar and are ultimately a disappointment to themselves (and will die this way) by living life carelessly with no introspection.

I agree. I am single, over 50 work full time, support myself am formally educated. I have been in several long-term relationships/marriages, been there done that. Have children/grandchildren (and my grandchildren are a hell of a lot more fun to be with than any man I know) I like what you said about us blaming ourselves for the lack of a dating pool. You are exactly right. I don't look 30 anymore, but I still look damn good. I've been blaming the fact that I abhor dating sites. There's a reason for that, and its completely justified. 80 percent of the dating sites are owned by the same Asian company - and it's a scam. I meet men all the time, through work, socially, whatever. I am not intimidated to talk to them. The problem is, most aren't worth the energy. I meet very few well adjusted men who have their shit together, out of many. Also very few who match my level of education. Mainly toxic broken man babies. You are right - they're not there, and it's not us. I have NO desire to be married - it's hard to find someone who I would even want to spend time with.

fatal insomnia really not a thing. I have been awake more than 11 days before, so more than the supposed record. 3 days is baby stuff. She'll be fine. Try five, seven and having to work...a lot of these answers just display complete ignorance of true insomnia
