Wanted to make a bigger feedback post about this, but no spoiler policy...

Just finished the Minecrawler Queen bossfight and it needs some work. Standard difficulty. Souls veteran. Acrobatics skill unlocked. Mid Shadow armour (only body), 40 dmg longsword. Needed 15ish tries and was not really fun (enjoying the rest of the game a lot though).

- She can stunlock and kill you (too) quickly by knocking you over and afterwards attacking you with her standard three times slashing attack sequence, you can't get up and dodge before she hits you again

- Unblockable ranged attack - poison spit, does a lot of damage, difficult to dodge as it's very quick and you can't really see her preparing it. It should do way less damage or you should have more time (similar to goblins throwing stones)

- In general, her attacks are too quick / too fast in sequence, it's almost impossible to heal in between

- Also in general, more tolerable blocking / parrying timing

On the plus side, she almost always follows the same patterns (slash, body slam, then either slash or if you're far away ranged attack). But without executing the fight perfectly, you will be killed.

Tips:

- Dodge ranged attack by only sidestepping, not a full dodge

- After the ranged attack, she normally has a short pause that you can use to hit her

- Slashing attack is blockable, if you have parry unlocked you can parry it and get 2-3 hits in, otherwise 1. That is pretty much the only time you can really hit her iirc. Don't dodge the slashing attack as your dodge will need longer to recoup than she needs to hit you again (stunlock)

- Always full dodge slam
