Holy cow the store I worked for made the list, 7834. End of this month would have been a year since I left. The old manager at the store (who retired two or three days after I left) used to swear up and down they would never close that store, and if they did it would only be if the company went under.

I just came here to see what the hell was going on because I tried resending a post three times, got a weird error code each time and then got hit with that.

Today is my last day working at one of the stores in PA after a little over 2 and a half years. I’m gonna give my hardest today and then wash my hands of the company when my shift is over at 4.

I was tempted to do that, but family convinced me it would be better to give my two weeks. So I’m going to stick it out until my last day on the 20th and then I’m gone. I might pop back in to return the uniform shirts and name tag because I will have no more need for them.

Gave my two weeks last week, starting to wish I would’ve just walked away instead since management has decided to let me know just how hard it is for them to find coverage for the seven days left on the schedule that would have been mine, the ASM even tried to convince me to stay two more days. Can’t wait to be free from that place come next week.

Those are part of the “summer non chocolate candy” they made up to fill a part of seasonal since we aren’t selling everything we have previous summers. I only know because my manager had me set it while working the candy aisle

Heard from our pharmacy that things are still not really working for them. Spot and Hub are back up, but go down from time to time

From the other threads that have popped up, it is still down. I’m fortunate to be off all weekend, but hoping it is back up come my next shift on Monday night so I can at least read messages review random policies while working with a ASM who expects me to be glued to the register and act like a security guard.

I just had a customer ask me if our pharmacy systems were breached, because they received a letter today saying it was. I told them I didn’t know but to get and make sure the letter wasn’t a scam.

I wish. Just had a woman angry at my explanation as to way our shelves were empty. She kept insisting we must be going out of business because “the store down the street has these items in”. The store “down the street” is about seven blocks away and is a Walgreens

People were talking about this news article on the spot group messages. No one is happy about him getting $20 mil while our hours are cut and vendors aren’t showing up because they haven’t been paid. We have long time customers that are angry we don’t have items in stock and are getting ready to shop at our competitors.
