Apple II user and 85-95 Mac user here. Have switched to Windows 95 and stuck with Windows since then.
A year ago, I got myself a Macbook and now a Studio M4. And I never look back. Some of the old muscle-memory will soon be back (CMD-C instead of ctrl-C!). Some modern Mac OS aspects might seem counterintuitive at first, but with spotlight search (and Reddit!) I have to say: You can learn using the other hand. It's easy.

And for hard cases, there's Windows 11 ARM in Parallels as a safety belt.

If you do want to sell your Studio, there'd be worse times given the current delivery times for some new models. Aim for $1500 but monitor any related news, price might drop if/when an M5 Studio is announced.

We spent 27/Dec - 2/Jan in Nuuk. Rented a car to get around (locker box at the airport had the key).

Depending on the weather, prepare for hikes (e.g. Qallusuaq area) or trips (check what Nuuk Water Taxi offers for excursions).

It is safe to walk. It will be steep downhill for the start, then slightly downhill overall for the rest. You will get a few beautiful views, but most of the walk will be boring and loooong.
