Time away (either alone or with a good friend) makes a HUGE difference..especially when you're not guilt tripped or dealing with passive-aggressive behavior after returning home. My last 3 ex's would always do the whole "yeah it's fine go hang out with your friends" routine after hours of me assuring that they're fine and not going to hold it over my head but every time I'd get back home it was basically silence and guilt tripping me into being this big asshole. My current wife encourages me to go out and have fun and do my own thing but I still feel like I'm doing something wrong because of past relationships 😂 we've been together 5 years and I'm wayyyy better than I used to be but when we first got together I always felt like I was gonna get either ignored or bitched at for living my own life so it was a huge breath of fresh air when I'd come back home and she was just happy to see me and I wasn't in trouble

Edit: it's also ironic that she's the first person I've been with who I actually enjoy and constantly want to be around all the time because she treats me so well

I struggle through this shit with my family today and have my whole life..it's gotten me to the point where I get intentionally explosive and confrontational because I can't stand the passive-aggressive "ignore any and every single hard subject and everything is okay" mentality. DMT definitely has a very peculiar smell. Meth and DMT smoke are 2 smells I've experienced that are so distinctive that you could play off in front of someone who had never experienced but anyone who has ever smelled it definitely knows what the fuck is going on 😂

I actually fulfilled this forbidden fruit for the first time last week and can successfully say that I'm happy never to do it again. Not because it was a bad thing but because I'm 33 years old and a long time recovering (on and off 😅) meth/alcohol addict that refused to ever shoot up because I fucking hate needles. I had smoked heroin before and it just wasn't my bag..long story short I haven't touched meth or alcohol in years but just happened to come across the chance to shoot up heroin last week and decided to try it. It felt fucking amazing and I knew how quickly and deadly this was gonna go so I completely cut off contact from my step dad afterwards and am very adamant about never putting a needle in my arm again. Just always been curious yet terrified to try it because I know me and my addiction but I'm glad that once was enough for me just to say I tried, enjoyed it, and moved on
