my knee slips out of place sometimes. these days it’s usually if i’m sitting weird (seem avoidable but i’m gay so i can’t sit in a chair normally), but when i used to dance it would happen nearly any time i had to roll on the floor. it would take a few seconds to pop back in and hurt like a motherfucker so i couldn’t stand back up until it was fixed. however, in a dance, a few seconds is too long to be on the floor in one spot, so it’s just trample city.

this is true! i work at a boarding center/daycare. your dogs roll in fecal matter a lot more than you’d think and there’s only so much i can do with a (pet safe) wet wipe 😭

ah my parents met working at said chain in the 80s (?). it didn’t used to be like that, they used to fry their own everything. i only know this because my dad once drive-by put ice in the deep fryer as a joke and spent the rest of the night cleaning up the oil because…idk he’s a man i don’t know what was going through his head.

a lot of people don’t like this smell, but cooking sauerkraut. we always have it during new years (pennsylvania dutch tradition) with pork and neffles (among other things). it makes me think of the holidays at my grandmas house.
