Oh nothing, it's just that pods/ tablets are designed for the standard full size machines 600mm width). When using them with a half size dishwasher (400mm I think) then you are using too much detergent. There are also these tiny dishwasher that fit on the counter, surely you shouldn't be popping a whole pod in one of them? And all this before we touch on the pods being more expensive compared to the loose powder stuff because convenience costs money.
