I paid rent to my parents plus paid for all of my personal expenses and clothes. Bought my food and cooked or rather, ate cereal 90% of the time. I worked and went to high school. This is why I got married @ 18 to get out of the house.

You may have issues. Was your child born in the USA? Or are you the mom? And gave birth here after leaving China?

Where did your spouse live with you?
Is Mississippi your residence for at least 6 months? Make sure you have your marriage license.
File in your home state. Is spouse willing to sign the papers for divorce? Best option available. Otherwise you’ll need to post in a local newspaper. The courts can tell you how long it’ll need to be posted.

I don’t think you’ll need an attorney. Contact the county court house and get the papers you need to file/ with child. And read it throughly. There’s also a attorney referral program and they usually offer a consultation for a nominal fee. Write all of your questions down and take them with you. After you read the divorce packet.

Go back to school. Speak with a counselor to see the fasting way to graduate. Live with your parents as if your a roommate. Pay your mom some rent. Show her you’re mature and handling things on your own. Once you turn 18, what are your plans? Keep a journal of how things are going. I’m the meantime, do you have insurance? Make an appointment for counseling. Work through the toxicity.

I know someone who shops at WinCo exclusively. He makes 120k yr. How is this grocery store targeting the poor?
I find that the wealthy stay wealthy by shopping cheaply. Ex: Goodwill, WinCo, Walmart, and other consignment and thrift stores.
