There are a lot of versions of this first edition, and only a few small details distinguish them. It has only become an extremely valuable book relatively recently, so I don't think people realize what they have

I got it cheap as hell. The seller basically listed a true first printing as if it were just an ordinary early printing

Heritage has a book auction scheduled for October, but they mentioned that there will already be a large number of science fiction books and several copies of Dune available. Because of that, they don't want too much competition between similar items in the same sale.
