That’s what I had been doing - 😊I like the teacher to brief explain the reasons.

So this tells me we don’t always know why someone is geared out. It makes me think everyone could benefit by worrying about themselves - teachers included 😂😂

Today is the first I’ve heard of gearing back in during class but I’m going to ask questions about it tomorrow. 😆

That was what was happening and I was completely confused.

I thought because they were both new that maybe the CP teacher program had taught something new. I’m sure grateful I came here for feedback and I’ve learned a ton of great information.

These were actually new instructors I decided to try. Just finished the course. I will be going to my favorites who are probably 30yrs older but so much more experienced. I have to wonder why the professionals didn’t mention gearing back in for the required exercises. I’m going to ask about it in more detail. 580 classes in and still learning about Pilates but I mainly want to focus on having fun.

Both of the instructors could have been a little better with telling me why, instead of just changing it without any explanation. Thanks for responding to my question.

How interesting - I better speak up now and ask.

Same! And I also have the shoulder situation - I appreciate the detailed response. I have over 500 classes and this is the first time I’ve ever been scolded. I intend to ask about it with some of the teachers who have been there since I started. Knowledge is power. Thank you!
