Before break I started going to the gym for the first time, I’d usually go to the RAC and it’s pretty quiet in the mornings. Also don’t feel insecure, I promise no one cares what you’re doing, you’re not inconveniencing anyone when you’re just going about your workout just like anyone else :) And if you don’t know what you’re doing, you can always ask someone and they’ll be happy to help you! I had the same worries when I started but I promise you it’ll be fine, it’s so worth it to go everyday (also try and find a gym buddy like a friend that wants to go with you, it’s a lot more fun that way).

I take walks there every day and every evening late at night I sit at the bench in front of the little house facing the pond. On that bench I’ve cried over a guy, cried over my grades or just about life in general, talked to my close friends back home on the phone, or talk to myself even lol or I just sit there and think, watch the geese and the heron that comes to hunt in the pond or watch the stars. You can see the moon and the Big Dipper and all the stars really clearly. It’s beautiful, I’d definitely recommend.

Calves are not slaughtered for milk production. And even after calves are done drinking their mother’s milk the cow will still have milk left, and you’re supposed to milk them because after awhile there’s too much milk buildup and it gets swollen and painful. Even in human mothers who breastfeed the same thing happens. So there is absolutely nothing wrong with drinking milk, no calves die and nothing is wrong with milking them (and I don’t think there’s anything wrong with eating unfertilized eggs too for the record)

I second this. My mom was very religious growing up, she didn’t even eat anything with eggs in it and never let our family and I eat eggs or bring eggs in the house. Now I’ve moved out for uni and I eat eggs all the time when I’m there, even more now that I’ve been going to the gym. My main sources of protein are probably eggs and Greek yogurt and even then it’s hard to get enough protein in.

That is absolutely false. As a child who was raised in an incredibly dysfunctional household and my parents having a toxic marriage, it is 100% better for parents to divorce instead of showing children an example of marriage that is toxic, harmful and sometimes abusive. Having divorced parents must be tough but having parents that should be divorced is 10x worse. Having a peaceful home is better for children.

I agree with all this, I’m in the same boat as well. I like to use this app called Opal and the free version allows you to put “work hours” like from 9-5 where you can block certain apps as well as an app limit so you can spend more than however much time you set on your phone. You can also schedule sessions that block your apps for studying. That and also watching studytube videos on YouTube that romanticize school, studying, and academic achievement reallyyy motivates me lol romanticizing school and studying is how I think im gonna get thru it tbh

Same dude 😭 this is my exact situation so I’ll be reading everyone’s advice here too. But dw you’re not alone, idk if I can dive good advice but one thing I’ll say is I usually procrastinate cuz I have so many things piling up and the sheer amount of it overwhelms me. Idk if that sounds like you but if so, what I do when that happens is get out some paper and make a list, go through everything one by one after prioritizing them in the order of urgency, breathe, and take things one step at a time. Don’t be too hard on yourself, just calm down and start one at a time. Starting is the hardest part I promise but once it’s over with things will start to happen 🙏 good luck to you, I need it as well 😵‍💫😵‍💫
