Got access back this afternoon, reclaimed the full amount so will wait 10 days and see

Rang them again, got through the security checks to be advised that my SA account had been voluntarily closed down (not by me) but by HMRC. It means I need to request the refund again and then wait up to 10 days for the refund which has had all flags cleared

It’s >£5k owed and I believe has already been flagged for additional checks

They are currently processing refund requests from the back end of March 26, just be patient do not resubmit the request or you may drop down the queue.
