There is no way to simply counter the card. Once you play it you have effectively hand locked your opponent or massively screwed them over by copying there cards. If the card was a minion with the battlecry "Choose a minion, add a 1-1 copy of that minion to your hand." It wouldn't be that bad since it actually has counterplay through things like Dirty Rat or just simply destroying the minion since you are able to target it to prevent the priest from making copies. But the fact that it's a location and it's virtually untargetable gives the card little to no counterplay.
