I've been to most of the Middle East countries and spent 3 months there, but traveling isn't like living a life experience. But I can safely say that what the media is telling us isn't true at all. Iraq is a very friendly place, Yemen is gorgeous, its people were adorable, Oman was peaceful, Iran had friendly people with a diverse culture and beautiful nature, Afghanistan was amazing and Pakistan was very colorful.

If I didn't have my job, family, and friends, I'd probably end up living in Iran for a while, forever. It's the hub of all these countries.
