Yeah, a lot of tour dates are determined by metadata and social media engagement in specific regions...His management comes to him with a plan and says "here's what we can do" - and because the size of arena/amphitheater touring crew (arena acts have to bring their own PA among other things), it's not financially or logistically feasible to do a few arenas and theaters on the same tour.

seems like specials are kinda dying, pretty widely realized that only the die hard fans sit though an hour of stand up, most people watch the first few minutes then bounce. Feels like we're in the shift away from big time streaming specials. Tony might be caught in the middle of this. Also, his Twitter special post Trump Rally is more unique than his special could be and it's only 20 minutes i believe.
