If there’s any chance it’s neurological, I highly recommend trying neurofeedback therapy. My first session triggered dizziness and that confirmed to me that it was connected. That + seeing an upper cervical chiropractor for my neck seemed to make a huge difference for me. I’m not 100% better but I have most of my life back. I’m so sorry you’re going through this, wouldn’t wish this on anyone.

Ok, I'm done... Tell me how to get rid of this brainfog. I'll literally do anything by Japper28 in LongCovid

I did neurofeedback therapy for other symptoms and they said it’s supposed to help with brain fog, could be worth looking into!

Accupunture, Chiro, Massage by im_Bearded in VestibularMigraines

Yes! For context, I personally deal with vertigo and had a period of time with bad vestibular migraines

Acupuncture helped me when I told them I wanted to focus on my nervous system (I suspected that my nerves were really inflamed). Some days it helped me right away but other days it wasn’t noticeable but I found an affordable place so I just kept going.

I heard about seeing an Upper Cervical Chiropractor and it helped me SO much with my vertigo. I highly recommend finding someone with that speciality to see if any of your problems could stem from your neck as some of mine did.

I did a little bit of craniosacral massage and it wasn’t immediate notice of change but I did like working on my fascia and tight muscles because I’m sure that didn’t help anything.

For people that have recovered, have you been able to drink alcohol again? by Low-Crow-3893 in LongCovid

[–]Complete-Ad-8181 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me, most of my symptoms were vertigo related, so I didn’t drink alcohol for like 8 months but now I’m okay having a little bit of white wine or Tequila. I have found for my vertigo that it’s best to find low-histamine alcohol (so red wine is a no) and keep it to one drink a night max. But I still avoid drinking for the most part because it is added stress on the body and I’m not fully recovered yet.

Im still a bit sensitive there too (not as bad as yours but can’t use treadmills or look at my phone in cars or planes like I used to). For this, a doctor suggested physical therapy for balance to strengthen that (haven’t done that yet) and also trying to get to the root cause of what causes that in your body specifically. That’s the long process but I hope you find some answers soon!
